The government of Kosovo has postponed the decision that would require people in Serbian-speaking districts to swap their Serbian-issued car number plates for Kosovo-issued ones.

Protesters in Northern Kosovo barricaded the roads, while armed men fired shots.

This is not the first time Kosovo experiences tensions. It has happened many times, even after the Kosovo War of 1998–1999.
