Sorry it took a little long to resume the story, life was demanding a little more attention from me than I expected.

Anyway, here we are in Northampton, and Minami and Konami say goodbye to their fallen sibling and doing so by cutting off their hair as in keeping of the Bushido. Placing their severed tails on Tsunami's grave in tribute.

Having cut their hair using a Katana, Konami complains about the quality of the resulting hairdo, when all of a sudden she notices something.

Meanwhile, inside the farm house, the Hamato Clan is resting, save from Leo, who uses the opportunity to bond with his child.

A scene of domestic bliss with Leo and Karai's little family and with him revealing the name he gave their precious little daughter.

And with Karai revealing just a little on what went on after the two of them settled in Tokyo after he mutated into a human being

While the team is having their R&R at the Northampton farm house after Tsunami's funeral, back in NYC Kuro has to face the music with Kraang Prime for having Kraang Subprime go on a mission alone and not returning.

Kuro, channelling Chris Bradford, comes up with the must despicable plan, to remain on Kraang Prime's good side.

But two very closely listening ears have also learned about the plan.

As Yarruhk delivers the bad news on what happened as soon as Kuro took control, our heroes are now scrambling to take control of the situation.

Leave it to Mikey to come up with a solution.

Mikey brought forth a good idea, but now he found a way to make it even better.

And so Mikey's great plan is set in motion.

But being a brand-new dad, is still proving to be a learning curve for Leo, who needs Raph to step in and teaching him that he now has different responsibilities in life other than leading the team.

Mikey's plan has been put in motion and as expected, the results are immediate and disastrous for Kuro.


Well then, here we are: the 250-th page of the story, what a milestone.


If the scene looks familiar, it's a reprise of the debut scene for Konami and Minami back on page 55, and the two Karai clones which were left by Kuro to guard Karai's house in page 76. Which for all that time were still there and apparently completely forgotten about by The Kraang and Kuro alike.

I'm on a roll, the updates to the story come to me from left, right, and centre.

Here's Leo holding something very familiar, what could that possibly imply here?

Leo and Tiger Claw are facing each other once again, but this time in a game of chess, during which Tiger claw brings forth an interesting proposition.

Leonardo becoming the new Shredder, did that come out of the blue?

As it turns out, no it didn't, as Tiger Claw and Toshiro had discussed it in depth before Kuro murdered the latter.

But Leo isn't going to take up the Kuro Kabuto without laying down some strict terms.

With Leo having laid down the law, he now decides to show Tiger Claw, something which the latter is entirely unfamiliar with: Kindness. A gesture which is very much appreciated.

Yeah, Tiger Claw in the first panel and in the sixth panel didn't turn out all that good, that first drawing of his in particular looks very much like Garfield with an eye patch.

Well, it's impossible NOT to see the similarities between the last scene of Tiger Claw calling Leonardo “Master Shredder” and in Star Wars episode 3 when Emperor Palpatine addresses Anakin Skywalker as Darth Vader for the very first time.

So I decided to embrace the similarities here.
- What if Captain Ryan had a similar “I am your father” moment?

I also had some fun with the “Sith” sounding similar to “Sixth” and named the Space Heroes' baddies “Fivth” as in that being similar to “Fifth”

And yeah, “Varth Dader”, I had fun with that.

Having been reassured that Leo will not become corrupted by becoming the new head of the Foot Clan, the others make plans for the upcoming battle.

Meanwhile, having seen Leo's newly found domestic bliss up close, Donnie makes a plan of his own.

Remember how in pages 195, 196 and 197, Yarruhk destroyed the clone factories? With the factories being in a VERY remote part of Dimension X and with their own teleportation devices, which teleported the clones straight to earth. The Kraang had no need to go over there and run the place.

But noticing something amiss with the security camera, they started an investigation, which unveiled the scale of the destruction Yarruhk created.

So with the destruction that Yarruhk wrought upon the invasion, it's time for Kuro to work out some severe damage control if the invasion has any chance of still succeeding.

Taking out the City's WIFI network, so it robs the Turtles of their vital communications, is a good call. But no matter how many clones and Kraang bots Kuro still has to his disposal, they can't possibly take out every single one of the City's Cockroaches.

Meanwhile Donnie, April and Yarruhk are making a scientific breakthrough.

After making the discovery, Donnie, April and Yarruhk are quick to let the others know, which is when they find out what The Kraang had been up to.

And no matter how many roaches June commands, she can't deploy them all over New York state.

Well, the Turtles and their allies have been cornered, with the WIFI services terminated, they can't use their phones, teleportation devices or anything else for that matter.

What to do? Use the telegraph, or pigeons, heck, the PONY EXPRESS?

Luckily, they still have Donatello on the team.

So, Donnie unveils what he, April and Yarruhk have been working on. And Mikey, displaying typical Gen-Z behavior, gets out his phone to document it all. Only for Raph to step in at the last moment to stop him.

But that encounter caught the attention of somebody who is as cunning as she is dangerous…

260 pages already.

Throughout the duration of the story, people have been asking me if I intend to make Leo become a turtle again.

Well, you should have to see for yourselves what I'm going to do with that.
