New companion for series 13



As for the episode...wasn't bad, still suffered from Chibnall's usual shortcomings as a writer, and treated the audience like they were paper thin on intellect and attention span.

Was Jodie flirting with Ryan or something? I've never seen her give this much of a f*ck about him throughout the series so a lot of their moments together here felt unearned. Yaz was rather annoying, her new characterization borders on unhinged mentally unsound stalker. So glad Robertson bluffed his way to a knighthood. Is it me, or are all the Trump avatars lately getting happy endings now that the real one has lost?

yuck and from what I have heard he will be writing the 60th anniversary episode. Chibnall to Doctor Who is Kathleen Kennedy to Star Wars a person not fit for the job

I respect what FW cartoon did for the turtles franchise but it is the most overrated and hard to watch of the 3 turtles cartoons.

With all of the merch the last year or so being so tightly focused on the Tenth Doctor, is there any chance they could have Tennant return and carry the show through the 60th?

he could I know Tennant has had a lot of big finish stories as of late as well. Hell I wish they would do an 8th doctor show but in the style of the Mandalorian.

The Daleks will feature in Russel T Davies' new 1980S AIDS awareness drama 'It's A Sin' for Channel 4. One of the show's characters is a bit role actor who lands a role in Doctor Who. The scenes being filmed are semi-recreations of sequences from the serial Resurrection of the Daleks, but because the story is set in 1988, RTD has come up with a brand-new 'classic' DW adventure for the sequences that he's labelled 'Regression of the Daleks'

Rumours are there's to be an announcement on International Women's Day (March 8th), word on twitter is that it'll be to announce a female showrunner, who I believe will probably be Maxine Alderton (she wrote the Mary Shell episode in series 12)

A legitimate leak!



The culprits? Not reddit, but Penguin House. Their synopsis for a November tie-in comic book by Jodie Houser reveals it ties into episode two of series 13. The book involves Captain Jack being transported through a time window to the 18th century, where he and some 'old friends' go up against the Torchwood of that era.

Now, whether or not Jack and Torchwood are included in the episode, or if it's just the 'time windows', is not yet known, so don't get too hyped just yet. Still, good to know there are plans for Jack further along in this 13th Doctor era, even in expanded media
