which is yet another reason why I respect the orginal toon so much, they portrayed April like a mature adult woman who was established in her career and had her own place. And for the most part I believe other mediums of the turtles have treated April fairly in this regard as well. But I don't see why April has to be this fresh faced teeney bopper 20 year old whos still in college or something to be a convincing April.

Well Chris Evans is clearly out of their budget nowadays but what about sarah michelle gellar?

She was beautiful in the early 2000's but she aged out really fast, but she could play old April in an adaptation of a future event like Same as it never was?

She's aged like fine wine. I'm usually hard on women aging but SMG is amazing.

I was just about to bring up her instagram account. You can tell she uses a filter or extra make up in a lot of posts but there’s a few where she doesn’t and she looks so good. (girls really need to stop with the makeup, tanning and artificial stuff. They look so much better natural).

I don’t care what anyone says. She’d make a perfect live action April, currently.

Pretty much the entire female Buffy cast has aged well. Charisma Carpenter is over 50 now and looks amazing.
