I miss being able to summon a woman by hollering "YO! Sugar tits!"

Like you can technically still do it but it's not the same reaction as back then AT ALL.

I don't really find myself missing the 90s as much as I just look back fondly as being a kid in that era. As an adult in, say, the 2003-2010ish era... that sort of seems like the cultural zenith before stuff started getting weird and divisive and "not enough real problems," in retrospect.

I mean, if nothing else, it's thanks to the 1990s that Every Single Wedding Ever Since now has a bunch of old people dancing badly while a chick sings in Spanish about f*cking a bunch of randos while her boyfriend is outta town.

I wonder who were the 1990's/2000's "sex symbols."

Britney Spears? Christina Augilera? Justin Timberlake bringin' sexy back? Maybe Madonna still for early 90's.

I remember the Summer that "Vogue" came out, associated that Summer with the Dick Tracy movie. That song was huge.

So, I just re-watched Michael Gray's The Weekend, and I found it really ... bizarre.

Why would anyone sexualize a woman going to the office and using a photocopy machine? Futhermore, why would anyone want to sexualize a group of women who wear office clothes?

It just doesn't make sense to me. It seems peculiar ...

-------

On another note, does anyone recall the Y2K bug?

I heard that it was quite the scare.

There's a kink for everything. That hot office girl who everyone wants. The photocopier as that analog to the milkman who wants the woman on his route over her washing machine. An 80's take on an age-old formula. Nowadays it's "the video game girl", hence all of the Twitch-whores.

It's nothing more than heuristic-sexual-psychology by association.

The 1990's/2000's had a colorful vibe.

Literally. Some of the color schemes really pop out.

Any of you guys remember Baby Bottle Pops?

I partially blame them for why so many Millennials are such whiny babies today.

Must be something in the water. I just literally cannot understand how the kids that grew up with Ren and Stimpy, The Simpsons, Beavis and Butt-Head and South Park all grew up to be such oversensitive little pussies.

Like did those shows have the opposite effect or something?

I know what happened: their parents spoiled them to no end, fed them Baby Bottle Pops and corn flakes (which was originally invented to kill your sex drive; no joke) and finally sent them off to college.

Change comes within every generation. Your opinion(s) might vary as to if change comes in gracefully.

yeah but we're talking the same generation here. Literally the exact same people that grew up watching those edgey shows grew up to be whiney little pussy ass bitches.

It would be different if if it was their kids, or grandkids if they had kids real young, but these are the exact same people. These kids would be laughing at their own adult selves for acting so squeamish over stupid ****.

Old music videos have such grainy footage.

They feel more old than they actually are.

-------

I was only two years old within the year 2000.

Man, time flies.
