Man, I tried to catch "Bound" whenever it was on cable back in the day. Tilly and Gershon finger-banging was plenty for me back then, even though no, it's actually not all that graphic. Still. I had it baaaad for Gina Gershon back then. Like SO bad.
She was amazing at the Denis Leary roast. "Look, Denis! Your ultimate fantasy: F*ckable Cigarettes!"

I probably saw Bound at about the perfect age. I got what I wanted out of it.

Right?
Also, that was my introduction to Joe Pantoliano, who's always cool. Well, actually, I'd of course seen La Bamba, but not in a long time, and so "Bound" was the first time I'd seen and noticed him to the point where the next time I saw him anything it was like, "Oh, cool, That Guy."

I'd totally forgotten Pantoliano was in it. He wasn't on my radar until Matrix, and then "Memento." Then I went back and realized he was an evil doctor even in the Highlander TV series, too.

I'm okay with Andy's mom never appearing, and just being mentioned. I actually have more of an interest in seeing the couple from Bride of Chucky, just out of curiosity of what became of them since we know Andy's mom married Mike, and is okay now. Or maybe seeing Glen again. |

Glen is an inevitability, for sure. Though they kind of left that in a very murky place (he was split into Glen and Glenda, into human twins?) that they've got to come out of.

I don't remember clearly, but I believe Jennifer Tilly/Tiffany births the twins in the far future, right? But then again, 2022 would probably be beyond that far future scenario anyway. I wouldn't mind seeing them older or something like that. Or just having them somehow inhabit Glen's puppet body.

Catherine Hicks disowned the franchise? She retired from acting but I think it’s possible she’d agree if it’s just a few episodes. They don’t need to be action scenes.
It’s basically confirmed Glen and Glenda are returning. There was a casting leak that literally stated it. Just google it. It’s really easy to find.

It’s never brought up if she would return. She’s retired but it’s not mentioned if she’d be willing to do any acting again.
She said she’s always preferred movies over tv but this is part of the movie franchise so I don’t think that specifically would be the problem. She’s stayed friends with Alex Vincent and likes doing more emotional/dramatic scenes. Of course they’d probably have her interact with Chucky but I mean she’d be playing his mom again.

Eh. It was alright.
It does a lot of good in giving us a whole new setting and cast of characters but kinda fumbles when it later has to deal with all the loose ends and continuity from the movies. But when it’s just doing it’s own thing, i think it gives us some of the best moments and plot elements from the series. Such as how Chucky tries corrupting the protagonist, or when Chucky frames his pushing the mother out the window as a suicide and all the men of the family lash out. blaming each other for it. Or when he starts mocking Logan, still using his doll voice. BUT WAIT! DIDNT YOU WANNA KNOW HOW CHUCKY GOT HIS FIRST CAR?

Saw the first 4 from the new season. There is some really, really clever sh** in these. Episode 4 with Joe Pantoliano and the Gina Gershon reunion -- and Glenn/Glenda! -- was awesome.
