Shame, because I dig that Bebop and Rocksteady. I'd definitely be into this line at a lower price point. I think they would also really benefit from collector-friendly packaging. These things are made to be displayed on the retro card but I can't stand sealed collecting.
ReAction figures are at $10 and lower when they reach clearance at bookstores like Barnes and Nobles and bargain stores that carry toys. The Super7 ReAction stuff is usually $14.99 to $18.90 at retail price.

Ah, makes sense. I've always seen them on clearance I guess.

I hate to say it, but I'll probably just cross my fingers that these are bootlegged. I've come close to pulling the trigger on some MOTU ReAction figures from China because they can be had for $5-$8 apiece (though usually without the accessories). I don't care if they don't come with packaging, I just want the figures.

They’re out next week (next Monday (10/21)) at the Super7 store and elsewhere.

They're cool but definitely not $18 figures.

$18 for these feels high when the actual vintage figs of the Turtles themselves and Bebop/Rocksteady can be found loose/complete in the $15-$20 range.

New pictures of the figures out of packaging and in packaging are up (starting at the 5 of 16 mark):

https://toynewsi.com/345-34685

You can see all of the pictures without clicking on the next button by scrolling down on this page: https://forums.toynewsi.com/forums/t...s-from-super7/

The portrait of Rocksteady on the card (16 of 16) looks more like the original 1988 figure than the ReAction figure does.

The card portraits of Leo and Raph seem closer in design to that seen on the Konami Tournament Fighters SNES and Genesis covers.

The backs of the cards are not shown on Toy News International. It doesn’t look like there will be Pizza Points or Portrait Filecards. Of course, Super 7 could use Raph’s pizza accessory for the pizza in the Pizza Point or something like that. We should know what the backs look like between today and next Tuesday.

It’s nice to finally see the original turtles logo being used on the packaging.

I feel so used by Super7, they are testing our limits as turtle fans with these prices. I know I will buy this stupid crack for $18 each and I know they are not worth $18 each. I like to open things but for $18 I will feel like the packaging is part of the value too and I won't be able to open them. Let's not even get into the $45 ones. Too bad we aren't well organized enough to stand in solidarity and give them the big middle finger and boycott this whole marketing strategy of theirs. Yeezus, that's expensive. IT'S JUST A TOY, SUPER7. If toys were "art" as you think they are then we wouldn't have had any as kids and wouldn't be here now wanting to buy nostalgia from YOU! Don't get me wrong, a beautiful toy is art, but that should be a convenient truth, not an inconvenient one.

You can see what all four blister cards look like together in the link below:

Not sure why Rocksteady’s card outline is navy orange and not navy green…

Rocksteady’s eyeballs should be red, also.

It's just a fancy name. Nothing gimmicky about the action figures themselves.
I think it's like "RE(tro)-Action (figures)"
I think these will be better if they are 14bucks. $18 is asking for a lot.
I like the overall presents of the figures in packaging.
And it's a bummer too that I got the pizza box set that's cool in its own way but also very expensive for what it is. And it's not helping to see that the normal retail release is the exact same Turtle figures and same accessories.

Another behind the scenes video is on Twitter. Small pictures of the Foot Soldier and Shredder can be seen on the back of the package at the 0:18 mark:

As cool as Rocky Steady and Bebop look, I hope they go real far with these. I can't wait to get Casey Jones

So far the first 3 waves have just the main 88 cast with Baxter and Krang

You’re not including the 1991 turtle variant figures (Raph, The Space Cadet and Don, The Undercover Turtle). That could be because the disguised turtles didn’t have a “Disguised Turtles” sub-wave title in early 1991. Come to think of it, some of the stuff made in 1990 was confusing.

Were the new 1991 figures (disguises turtles, two new Aprils, and Pizzaface) a part of the 5th basic wave (Triceraton wave) or was it only the Aprils and Pizzaface that were 5th basic assortment figures? Does anyone know?

It should have been Leonardo, Shredder, Raphael, and Bebop in the first wave. I guess S7 harkened back to the Remco Totally Awesome Duelin’ Dudes game when thinking of the layout for the second wave. The second 4-pack (if there is one) could have Donatello, Michelangelo, Shredder, and the Foot Soldier in that order or it could be Michelangelo, Donatello, Shredder, and the Foot Soldier. What made S7 pick Leonardo for the first wave? Donatello, Raphael, Bebop, and Rocksteady would have made more sense.

Even better would have been Leonardo, Donatello, Shredder, and the Foot Soldier in a wave or wave 4 pack set. Color coordination would be neat for a TMNT action figure collection based off of the original 1988 toy line.

The Shredder and Foot Soldier ReAction figures are a lot buffer than the originals from 1988. Interesting seeing these new versions of the ‘88 figures.
