RIP Joe Ruby
Joe Ruby passed away. He was the co-creator of Scooby Doo with Ken Spears. They also made the Mega Man cartoon in 1994.

Mr. Ruby was involved in the creation and production of many beloved cartoons, as well as creating one of the most iconic cartoons in existence. His work will forever be cherished.
May he be able to rest peacefully. |

His uncle also killed Lee Harvey Oswald, which inspired him to write murder mysteries. His publisher told him that people solving crimes were cliche, so Ruby changed the main character to a dog. The rest is history.
