Also, it moved a few days earlier than the May 15th delay, so it'll be a little less late than usual.
They might as well just make it bimonthly

At this point, I bet part (part) of the reason behind the delay is to deliberately ensure there will be a mini throughout the duration of City at War. Maybe there was a second mini in the works that couldn't materialize for some reason, or maybe it's because the events of Shredder in Hell #5 tie directly into #100 of the ongoing. Who knows? It'll certainly seem like a fortunate coincidence in hindsight, I'm sure.

To be honest, the delays on Shredder In Hell don't bug me so long as it's finished before #100. Not gonna stress about the man taking his time on that gorgeous art.

Doomsday Clock vs. Shredder in Hell, which will finish first? Place your bets.

Doesn't come out till January 2020, man, so far away. They'll only be up to issue 75 collected by then, so a good 25 issues away from the current point when we get to the end of the year.

The hardbacks have always been about 2 years behind, but yeah... gonna be 2022 before Issue #100 gets the hardback treatment.

I really, REALLY love the cover, though. It definitely seems like a Mirage reference. I'm not sure if it's a reference to a SPECIFIC cover, though, but it looks really familiar. Interesting to see that the Pantheon and Hun are confirmed to pop up. I mean, I had no doubts that the Pantheon would pop up but it's nice to get some solid confirmation, and Hun is certainly an interesting one. Very happy to have Wachter and Dialynas working on this half of the story as well. Kinda hope Santolouco comes in for #100, though. |

No hints of Bebop and Rocksteady so far either. We know they were recruited by Karai but have no idea what role they'll play in the arc. Her forces seem pretty capable and formidable already, adding those two is sheer overkill unless they have a very specific part to play.

So I could be wrong about this, but to me it seems like the Shredder in Hell series has been switched to a bimonthly release pattern: January-March-May-July?-September? if issue 4 comes out in July and 5 is delayed further.
This would mean that issue 5 releases around the same time as #98 of the main series, adding to the big build up for #100. ![]() |

![]() Seriously, though, while all of the delays and gaps between issues are a real problem, making comics is hard, especially those on the level of SiH. Just hope it all goes smoother from here. If not, I'm grateful we're even getting this series. |
