Anyone know if the First to Fall Last Ronin Raphael was a NECA store exclusive or will it show up in other places like BBTS and Target?

We need an Ultimate Shredder already! I’m gonna try and hold off on buying any new releases, especially variants of the same characters, until we get a new and improved Toon Shredder. The 2017 Shredder for SDCC is terrible, arguably one of the worst figures in the line, but probably because it came so early in the line and they didn’t know how long it would last or if they get all the licenses etc. I get it so that explains all the reused parts and shortcuts.
Well, it’s been 7 years, it’s time, we need the first ever officially licensed 100% cartoon accurate Shredder figure, c’mon NECA! |

Hate that I couldn't find the set while they were offering 20 off 100.

![]() Looks like Rocksteady and Bebop are getting reissued once again with more cartoon-accurate box art. Good! Glad these guys are still going to be in rotation ... with the Turtles now getting their reissue and the giant Krang for this fall, I bet that an Ultimate Shredder may be planned this year too.

So the new Turtles are a different color than they've previously used for the Turtles. This decision baffles me (and helped to dissuade me from picking these up) as you can't really use the alternate expressions with the figures you already have.

But it's all by design to vaccumn up sales in small, manipulative ways. Any "true value" for the consumer wouldn't be constantly loaded with these small inconsistencies. |

I went ahead and got the Don lab. Tried to resist but NECA always gets me with their “don’t miss out, last chance!” sales pitch. It will likely stay boxed up for a while, haven’t even opened my first NECA lair dio yet. Just seems like it would be a huge hassle with all those parts and figuring out where to put the huge dios. I still need to get a scalped van and maybe the cartoon street dio if I come across one. At this point I think I’ll go for the Pizza Club Turtles if I find them in store, but so far haven’t seen any.

I also ordered the lab.
I'm more than happy with my Turtles in disguise. I got a later batch so they're not so shiny. Just waiting on the kitchen now. Hopefull it's smaller and not so expensive. |

Stayed strong, no lab. Gives me more funds to put towards the party wagon if they ever give us a 2nd chance at it, which they apparently said would happen.

So if this > 4 ft tall M3GAN figure is real (I'm still not fully convinced it is)...can any of the crowd that insist plastic and general manufacturing is so expensive explain to me how everything that is going into that item is somehow only $200 more than the comparably measly amount of material and effort going into the lair sets? Anyone? Bueller?

I don't know much about the large turtle figures but they look pretty simplistic to me - non-articulated and such. This one claims to have some amount of articulation, plus a heap of soft goods clothing, plus all that fake hair, etc.
A little math...back in 2017 a 1:12 figure which by today's standards would be $35 was $20. A 175% increase in 7 years. So is it crazy to wonder why an approximately 1:1 figure is still $500 7 years later and not $875? Particularly when you're going to sell exponentially fewer 1:1 figures than 1:12 figures...and the 2024 1:1 figure sounds like it is 10 times more complex than the 2017 1:1? |
