Yeah but even when the Alopex micro came out, as much as I liked that issue you just knew they wouldn’t deliver. They were compiling a huge list of characters who wanted to take Shredder out, and it was pretty obvious it was always going to be Splinter who got his revenge.

I don’t see the point now. He’s reincarnated and peaceful now. (I haven’t read anything after #125 yet, so perhaps I’m missing something here).

This doesn't mean that everything he did before can be easily forgotten and forgiven. It would make sense for the victim or his old enemy to seek revenge from him. It's just that I also don't like how Alopex blames The Turtles for siding with Shredder while she chooses to help Karai, which made her behavior very hypocritical.

Aside from being the turtle's fairy godmother and guarding a demon as a jailer on Dimension X, Shredder did not try to bring honor to the Foot Clan like his father did. Instead, he just watch Karai go down the wrong path and never tried to correct it. As a result, the Oroku and Hamato families never truly reconciled. So I don't like that IDW resurrected Shredder but never let him do anything of major consequence.

At least in Andrew's "The Shredder" comic, Mirage Shredder killed Casey and April, and his actions indirectly led to Raph and Shadow become enemies.

I haven’t read Shredder in Hell or #100 since they came out, and I’m only on #126 of Sophie’s run, so I’m missing some key pieces here. But!

My understanding was that he’s now completely separate from the Dragon warrior or whatever. Like the spirit of Takeshi Tatsuo is what made him an asshole and now he’s just his true own self.

Did April die normally or did she suddenly vanish when she dropped, as if she was erased?

So basically, this looks like his road back to full on villainy?

Hopefully. The whole "good guy" Shredder never really sat well, it seemed like he was only at peace due to Kitsune but now that she's gone what does he have to do.

In one of variant cover, he appears older than before. Does this mean that the ooze in his body has become less, or even disappeared?

Maybe Noi Tai Dar still has some power that can corrupt him, or maybe the Dragon isn't actually died. Now, Null has escaped maybe she will got to Dimension Z to save her brother.

Ugh.
I really liked the idea that Saki had found redemption.
He has some much potential as a darker hero.
