Neca/Target Haulathon April 11th

Went to a Target I never go to and they didn’t have the display or anything, so that was a bust.

However, it was one of the best stocked NECA sections I’ve ever seen. Lots of Mirage stuff and some Cartoon 2-packs I’ve never seen in person. Zack/Smask, Vernon/Rat King, couple others.

‘Toon Shredder is the hot figure this time around - have only seen him once.

Saw the 4-pack, it’s fun but I got to stop buying turtle variants.

Went to the trashy Target in my town, still nothing. Weird.

The Target that used to be NECA central near me had no haulathon shipper and the amount of NECA merchandise had been severely reduced.

Mirage April with the perm is going up this Friday and is already in Target’s according to NECA. This was from NECA’s instagram

Also the ultimate toon Shredder is going up Friday too

Mirage Handyman Don goes up tomorrow too.

Damn that’s crazy. I’ll probably just keep Archie Shredder on my cartoon shelf. Already have Archie Slash there anyway.

Not every Target carries them, so for some, this was their own way of getting one. The Targets by me still have Toon Slash, the Punk Turtles, and Samurai Mike and Astronaut Don.

Do you think it was collectors grabbing these, scalpers, or both?

Almost all the Haul-A-Thon stuff isn’t exclusive to Target. I just wish they would put up that Pee Wee Herman figure already

Shredder's back up, and I grabbed him. Mostly just been collecting my favorite characters when it comes to the NECA stuff, but the Vacation Bop and Rock that I got for Christmas REALLY needed their boss to be complete. (I've also never owned an accurate '87 Shredder figure, and I just couldn't resist.)

April is back up too as of this moment, so, guess that problem is solved.

I, too, want Pee-Wee. I couldn't tell if he was in the shipper I saw IRL, but if he was, he was sold out. Which frankly ... surprises me? I know plenty love him but that shipper couldn't have been there more than a week when I found it and there are less and less people dropping $35 on plastic these days...

Do shipping rates keep going up for people? Gone up on the items in my cart 60% since yesterday. Guess I'll just wait until the retail release.

Tattoo and Wyrm this Friday. I’m sure Wyrm when paired with Groundchuck and Dirtbag will make some collector’s toy shelf stand out more than it does.

Panda Khan goes up Friday new. Another TMNT only drop

NECA did way too many TMNT figures for haul-a-thon this year. If this is another TMNT only drop this week like last week I will be annoyed.
