Well, the episode's on again today, so I'll watch it again, but if I remember correctly, he said, "Who are they gonna go after next? My dad, my little sister, April." We obviously know April's not dead, so it stands to reason that Casey's dad and sis are still living.

But yeah, I didn't really think Casey's line about his dad and sister was meant to imply that they're dead. Just people besides April he wants to protect and gives him a motive to be a vigilante. Now whether or not they'll bother to show them like April's 'told but never shown' aunt is still up in the air. Last edited by DarkLightDragon; 02-08-2014 at 11:46 AM. |

Haven't been keeping up so I didn't know this one already came on. But I just watched it, it was good. Loved all the shout outs in it.

Would've been funny if Casey told Raph, "HUG ME BROTHER!"

Geeked out over the Mirage and original movie references. Just perfect!!
Irma looks like a goth version of Velma from Scooby-Doo. Spoiler:

I think that would be cool. Either that, or his sister is Angel or Shadow.

Shadow? Yikes!!! BTTS TMNT series could have intro Shadow. Imagine the turtles coming back from the future to find Casey and April already married with a baby girl. Sigh....wishful thinking.

Why would that be a yikes though? She could have a regular name and Casey could just call her Shadow as a nickname or something. I just think it would be cool for Shadow to be introduced somehow since she hasn't been seen since the comics, and this would be a way for her to be introduced without her being the daughter of Casey and April.

A really enjoyable episode this one. Love how it follows the inspiration of Raphael #1, but puts it's own twist on it, so it isn't exactly the same.
Liked the mirage sketch that Casey did. Nice homage.

Yeah, that's what I like about this Raph as well. I loved how he bodyslammed Casey onto that car. That was just awesome.

What started as local version of "Meet Casey Jones" ended up being rather different and interesting take on the story.
In the prologue Casey channels his OT incarnation and later seemingly takes inspiration from Rorsarch with his naration. Also, his line, when Purple Dragons escape is seem like a nod to the first movie. Battle on the roof of the train car was just "WOW!!". Creators of the show have once again surpassed standards set in the previous episodes and terms of choreography and operator's work. They have went all out on this one. Just awesome!! Splinter was cool during the fight, but that's a given. And the voiced debut of Irma (I think she had a voiceless cameo in past episode). All around another good episode. Casey seems more and more tolerable. Though, it looks like it should have been before episode with Slash. |

I know, but since it's a rare opportunity to post some thoughts for every episode of the series, I decided to use it.
