I see those names for the first time in my life.
Probably for the better or its just shows how "influential" zoomers are.

Yeah, I guess I'm too old to have any clue who they are, not a single one is familiar.

So to revisit this question a bunch of years later... A common one unfortunately appears to be a disturbing and very despicable trend of faking disorders/illness for attention and some romanticized belief that it's just so cute, special, and quirky. Also a convenient excuse for bad or rude behavior and avoiding responsibly. After seeing too much of that rabbit hole as of late...I pretty much despise that segment of Gen Z (much of them the teen section and a minority of 20s) and hope they eventually grow the eff up and cringe so hard it nearly ruptures their ear drums.

I mean we all have weird cringy BS from our youth, but god damn these kids now. At least the crap most of us did looks like nothing in comparison and most of it not morally questionable like this lying and mocking behavior is.

When rightists are yelling about liberals and "woke" and us older ones more often don't have a clue wtf they're on about... a lot of that stuff appears to originate with this part of Gen Z and more of a generational thing, not a liberal thing specifically.

Check out Reddit's Fake Disorder Cringe sub if you don't know what I'm talking about.

Wishing I hadn't even found it...but younger fans of a small band I like were on about this "system" crap and looked that up wondering what the hell they were even saying.

Really Gen Z, or at least that part of them (not trying to bad talk the whole generation), just quit the crap already.

In my personal experience, I think that these are the ranges of Generation Z:

  • • 1997-2000 [ Zillennials/Early Z ]
    • 2001-2006 [ Early/Core Z ]
    • 2007-2012 [ Core/Late Z ]

I am so happy that I don't know any of this people.
And won't know, hopefully, if they are and their contribution to humanity is like that of zoomers in general.

Apparently, Pepsi is updating its logo … AGAIN.

Spoiler:

It's supposed to "represent" Gen-Z.

If it's supposed to relate to Gen Z that is actually pretty funny...

Why is Gen Z called that? Because, ignored or not, Gen X exists. Gen X was named so for a reason. Then came along the next group who are technically "Y," but had the sense to coin a new real name for themselves. (Hi, Millennials, many of who are our younger siblings.) Then comes Gen Z, many of whom probably have no clue how or why they are "Z," or know that Gen X exists, like it's just the alphabet or somethin', like we actually started at "A." Don't be original, just take what you want... No offense to Z's, esp (mostly) the older ones, but taking and turning things into their own seems to be a trend with that one; little originality. Which would be why a vintage Pepsi logo is funny and on brand for Z.

(P.S. Call Gen Xers "Boomer" one more time and we'll light you on fire. That's our flipping parents, quite insulting.)

Not to mention Boomers has nothing to do with Gen X and the one preceding them, not that zoomers care about definitions - words don't have meaning to them and can be whatever they want at the moment (see: women, racism, nazi, incel, e.t.c.)

Freaks and idiots always existed, but they were shunned by society and definitely were not pandered to or given power to.

I mean, that sucks for anyone who doesn't have any kind of safety net to deal with that sudden change, the world isn't what it was in her (nor our) parent's day. However... if she's just being a lazy little bitch about things and making excuses... oh well.

Who is this person, are they a known disorder faker? I can't wait until that group grows up and that trend dies.

It's at least 8 months old so whatever hysteria it drummed is long gone.
