So I had one of my famous "Stoned & Sleep-Deprived Epiphanies" in the car just before.

So I realized, that like, a chick's beaver is like a bow tie for her snatch. Y'know? Kinda makes it all "fancy". Know what I mean?

Like too much is no good, but if I see a chick with a neat little triangle, I'm like, "That there is a Classy Snatch."

I can't be the only one who thinks of these things.

When a word search book teaches you new things, or at least leads you to looking it up.

My mom's book was open to a puzzle with the topic "ABCs of Agent Nouns." Not a clue what the heck an agent noun was and she didn't know either. Either school never mentioned this or did for 10 seconds and never again.

So today I learned that an agent noun is someone/something that performs the action of a verb.

7/2 -- Hurricane Elsa. Insert predictable song lyric changes.

Has anyone told tropical storm Elsa that it's not supposed to strength over land? 40 mph this morning and now up to 50. What the heck...

Is it really that humid that it no longer even needs the ocean? What's next, the sharks just grow legs?

IDW reminds me of Telltale Games: they keep doing licensed stuff without creating new IP of their own and we all know what happened to Telltale.

Am I the only one (on a coast) who sometimes wants a tropical storm? Maybe not a full blown hurricane, but just a tropical storm to bring some excitement and beak up the monotony of a dull, hot summer. Though I guess I should be careful what I wish for.

You definitely should be careful, because last Summer we only got hit with the ass-end of something and lost power - including air conditioning - for three days during a heat wave after something knocked a line down.

Nuts to your damn rain.

True... it really would suck to lose power right now with this heat.

Couple years ago we got hit with straight line winds or a down burst or whatever twice, one day after the other (damn universe, wtf did we/my zip code do wrong? lol) and lost power the second time, while it was really hot and humid, so everyone around here was miserable that night.

Though the only actual TS that made us lose power and did any local damage was Isabel a whole bunch of years ago.

Via Amazon's random BS that doesn't match what you're actually searching for:

Dr. Phil as an M&M character decal, because why the hell not... actually no, just why.

Oh no. LOL

Aw, at least they're small and kind of adorable. Look at it crawling along with it's little footie fins. If the great white ever learns that trick we're screwed.

How do you guys feel about someone who begins a sentence with, "Generally speaking, so and so..."

or "Well generally speaking, I think..."

How do you feel about people who use the phrase "generally speaking" to discuss something?

I've used it, don't see an issue unless you are talking about excess use or how it is used...?? Meh.

Well if theyre in great shape then its not really nessesary to back them but i prefer it

But esp old posters (70s and back) benefit , they become more stable and not so fragile , doesnt take much to tear those italian ones if not careful

Generally speaking, it's just a bit cliche, but common use of a language often is.
