It wasn't just the characters they borrowed, it was the entire tone and aesthetic. Nothing I saw of it in motion made me think of "Green Arrow", but boy did it remind me a lot of Batman. Like constantly.

I don't remember when I saw part of an episode but it would've been very early on. I joked to my wife that the show should've been called, "We Couldn't Afford Batman, So Here."

Seriously, even non-famous people get "hacked". There was a screw-up one time with my wife's sister's service provider, and ALL of her cell phone pics and videos got sent to their Mom's phone, including all kinds of sex and drug sh*t. Dick pics, the girl and her friend doing blow, all that kinda sh*t, right to their Mom's phone. That went over big. But who's fault was it really? The service provider? NO, don't record yourself doing dumb sh*t you silly goose. I feel like this needs to be a Kindergarten lesson by this point. Nah'mean?

If you wanna take nudes and ensure they never get out, buy a sh*tty disposable camera, develop the film at home, burn the negatives and lock the pictures in a safe. If you wanna make a sex tape, use an actual camera that's not connected to the internet, not your goddamn cell phone or laptop. Preferably one that uses video tape, and again, if you MUST keep it, throw it in a safe.

If you deviate from that script in ANY way, and persist in making homemade sex porn... then I'm sorry, you're an idiot and you deserve every single thing that happens next. My sympathy for people like Benoist in those situations is way, way less than Zero.

I know it can be a thrill to film one'self having sex or whatever. We did it once. Then when we were done f*cking we immediately realized how dumb that was and destroyed the tape. The whole scenario definitely made the act more intense in the moment, but then once you come down from the orgasm you're supposed to come to your senses and get rid'a that sh*t. I mean, really, who sits around actually watching their own homemade porn? What kind of narcissist does that?

Like obviously Benoist and whatsisname didn't do all that so people like me could see it. But everything she DID do heavily implies that she has no foresight whatsoever and is possibly incredibly vain, if she planned to keep that sh*t and one day look upon it again herself. Again... who actually does that? That's weird, man.

Anyways, she never should've done it, or if she did have to do it then she did it in the best possible way to make sure it leaked out. Therefore, no sympathy. I'd hope she learned a lesson, but none of them ever seem to. Her and Jennifer Lawrence, all of them this happens to, they spend a lot of time whining about "Muh Privacy!" but exactly zero time saying "I did a very silly thing that no reasonable person should do." No personal accountability? No owning of one's mistakes? Then I don't feel sorry for them. Their parents failed them as children, it's as simple as that. They all should know better. Their penance is that perverts like me get to jack off to them unrepentantly.

I'm glad I don't have any kids, but if I had a daughter you can bet your ass I'd teach her not to do dumb sh*t like that in the first place.

So did an actual movie make it out there or was it just the stills? If it was a full movie I'm really surprised in hindsight that WB kept her on. Not that they shouldn't have, but I'm just saying.

Oh I'unno. Some of the shots look posed but others look like they're in-motion during the act itself. It's possible they set it to take random shots on a timer, I don't know. Sadly, I wasn't there.

I just know that collectively, they'd make an awesome flip book. I should probably get to work on that.

Don't know if anyone else has been watching this season at all. It's kind of ironic that right now they're featuring high school Kara, as that's what I've always felt that this show should've been all along. Kara either in high school or college.

Kara in the present has been trapped in the Phantom Zone, presumably to work around Melissa Benoist's real pregnancy. Her teammates are trying to get her out and need something from the past to do it. At least, I think that's it.

Yeah, they needed some of her blood so that they could track her in the phantom zone. And I guess that was the only time in history they knew of that she bleed. Apparently Kryptonian females must not have menstral cycles on Earth.

So this week we were treated to the show's "Black Lives Matter" episode of the season. I was half way tempted to just turn the show off and never turn it back on. But for some reason I watched to the end. Man this show can't wrap up soon enough.

I stopped after season 1. the stupid plot the entire time, the man hating, the bad role model for kara, and the dumb way they 'accepted' the man hunter at the end...sigh. shame, too. decent enough cast for a REAL supergirl show and instead we get woke trash.

In a way that's a good thing. If the alternative is making Green Arrow like he was in a lot of SJW comics since even the 70s.

Absolutely loved that William got smoked by Lex. I don't think there's one person that liked his character, and it frees Kara up now for a more preferable endgame in the finale, which will probably be Mon-El (and Melissa's actual hubby), everyone's been adamant that Supercorp isn't happening.

And that's a wrap for the show, and they went out in a way that sort of set up future storylines that could be explored at any such point where Melissa agrees to come back for a guest stint elsewhere. I wonder how it'll affect Superman and Lois? If at all?

Also glad they didn't give Kara a romantic endgame whatsoever. Mon-El closed the book on their relationship, she and Lena are just friends etc. It's a safe spot to put Kara in as it means fanfic writers can do whatever they want and nobody can question them.
