That explains why I was thinking 'Michael'. I probably read ot years ago.. I posted my first name a couple of times in posting letters to Bobby and through email with 'dormers. Though for good or ill using screen names works fine.

Nah. I only wish I had an Irish last name. Y'know, "complete the set". Alas, my Dad was not Irish, thus neither was his family name. But I guess two out of three ain't bad. Plus, my Mom's family name was "Mahoney", which is pretty Irish. So that's still pretty good.

Y'know what kills me about that is that the Mahoney character is played by a guy named "Guttenberg."
I'm sure there has to be at least a few Jewish folks of Irish descent, but I'm also pretty sure you couldn't find enough Jewish guys named "Mahoney" to fill a Starbucks. That's just what my gut tells me.

You are CORRECT, sir! Was also the name of a British queen, which I find kind of empowering. And oddly enough, my mom's name is another British queen. (Or two....) Which is kind of funny, since we're of Irish descent!
