For crying out loud, people. This is ALL that I've been saying, and if you would have just gone and asked Krang then this issue would have been resolved without the whining days ago.

And yes, it's the website that gets in trouble, not the individual user on the website. Google doesn't have a system for copyright owners to have their content removed from YouTube to protect the person who uploaded it. They do that to protect themselves, and their laywers are still hella busy. Last edited by Roseangelo; 02-28-2010 at 12:54 PM. |

The point is if you hadn't started your little debate scans of the magazine could have been put on the forum and no one would even care or realize it.
Its hypocritical since you are not only not a moderator but you post similar "illegal" stuff on your blog which you've linked here plenty of times. Its obvious the moderators don't give a crap most of the time regardless. Now we have to wait on Krang to decide whether or not from a topic that looks very sketchy and not worded properly. Fact is the technodrome would not get in trouble, no one would would really give a **** and tons of fan sites have similar full scans of forgotten comics of franchises with no cease and desist letters coming to the site. And no, if something that is actually illegal would be posted the site would not be be held responsible, its in the user agreement of the forums and its happened plenty of times, all the website has to do is remove said content, if they are to actually do something they do it to the user not the site. |

Anyway, this thread is getting too negative, so maybe a new cover scan will cheer up the mood: Spring 1993 (#12) http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/4395826836/ This is the cover to the Spring 1993 issue of TMNT Magazine (#12). I believe there were two cover variants of this issue. One featuring the movie poster image of the four turtles on a four horses, and this "Special Collector's Edition" featuring lenticular images on the front and back covers. This issue doesn't feature a comic adventure, just information on the third live-action Turtles movie.

I posted a reply about the scans in the other thread. If anyone would like to continue that discussion, please do so there rather than in this thread.

Summer 1993 (#13)
http://www.flickr.com/photos/22047800@N07/4398888349/ In this issue, April O'Neil and the Turtles become trapped on a mysterious pirate ship helmed by an undead crew. Their only chance for escape is to answer a riddle and break the pirate curse.

I like how Aprils Bikini is yellow , I think in the OT it was too.
Anyways Krang also mentioned it was ok to post the comic portion of the magazine as long as it wasn't the whole magazine. |

http://www.smh.com.au/technology/tec...0819-epz0.html and maybe this as well http://www.cyberjournalist.net/news/004452.php and this... http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=325969 As you can see from the first article Google was sued into revealing the name of the anonymous blogger... Yes she was the owner of the site but she was also completely anonymous, where is the free speech with that? What about the other articles... Commenters names revealed??? Really? Granted most of these are about comments and not piracy but in the grand scheme of things it is almost the same... Cases like these set precedents down the road for bloggers, commenters, even forum members to be held responsible for their own actions. So, personally I feel that Krang would not be liable but rather the person who uploaded whatever content it was... Now, do I want to get Krang or any other member here in trouble, nah... I think we should just post a snippet of the cover or something with a link to a flickr or other host... I have offered as well as Vaughn so really we should probably look into doing something like this if people really want to share some nice pics... -ms |

Dude, the topic has been resolved and is done with. Let it go. I'm not spending any time looking for references to cite to satisfy a person that I don't even know. I honestly don't care if no one here believes me, and if you haven't figured out by now that I don't make **** up, I don't care about that either.

Yeah lets get back on topic, the issue is resolved though searching through my posts I ended up reading a post Roseangelo posting scans of a magazine and when asked about copyright she said something along the lines of "who cares besides I doubt they care that I'm posting this" so yeah a bit hypocritical on her part...just sayin'
Regardless, do we know how long the TMNT Magazine lasted? I doubt it lasted for to long. |

Judging by the publishing dates, it appears to have lasted from Summer 1990 to Summer 1993. It was a quarterly publishing the first issue in winter, the second in spring, the third in summer, and the fourth in fall. That's if I'm reading the cover dates correctly. A Grand total of thirteen issues. The third movie issue (Spring 1993) appears to have had two variant covers.
