I bought his Shredder Warm up and turned out it had been sold the week prior but glitched in the website still had it for sale. He offered this one because of that.

Way back in 1999 I went to GenCon for the first, and to date only, time. While walking the dealer floor I happened upon the Palladium table, where they were selling unused TMNT rpg covers for a quarter a piece.

So I bought my favorite four, for a dollar.
(I'll always kick myself for not having bought all of them on the spot, but the past is the past.)

At any rate, a few years ago I got my two favorites of the four professionally framed, and had them hanging in my bedroom. A couple of months ago I finally got around to framing the remaining two.

Yesterday I finally hung them all up.
I'm so freakin' pleased.

Right?!
I don't even remember how many others they had on the table, just that these four were my favorites.
It's hard to go wrong with ninjas wearing fez, or shark fighting.

I didn't buy the rest because I thought to myself:
What will I even do with these things?
When I should have been like:
They're a quarter a piece, you scrooge!

That's a great display, and the statues set them off well. 25 cents each, what a deal!

Okay guys....so im super excited about a piece that is in transit as we speak.
But i wanted to give a HUGE shout out to DANIEL MERCED!!!

IF you dont know who this man is, try to find out. Guys, i cannot start to explain how great of a seller this man is. i do not want to go into detail about this lengthy process we had, but i will tell you this much.....YOU WILL NOT FIND A MORE PATIENT AND UNDERSTANDABLE SELLER THAN HIM! im sorry, but you wont.
Aside from the fact that his collection is possibly the best OA collection on this forum, he is also a guy that is easy to talk to, patient, and does not give false info.

DANIEL, thanks for this amazing piece brother!! i will be posting pictures soon.

It probably feels so surreal to own such an integral cover to the TMNT mythos. One thing cool about this cover is that there is so much going on and you can stare at it forever and just admire the detail. And as an added bonus, Cerebus is there in the background too! Congrats! I love this book and own two interior #5 pages myself. I'm now inspired to watch the 2k3 "Turtles in Space" arc again. Awesome.
