Model & Toy Collector Special #3

This is a fairly common item from what I understand, but unfortunately, it doesn't appear to be up for auction at the moment:

Model & Toy Collector Special #3

Anyone interested to part with this little gem?

no problem. I see it mentions Hallowieners on the cover-- can someone verify that that was an actual printed comic?

lol, your threat to beat me to the punch was enough motivation for me to buy it from the ebay link that wilddiverse provided!

According to TMNT "superfans" Roseangleo, tOkKa, and Vaughn Michael, it's the cream of the crop as far as their appearances in magazines go:

You're lucky I'm already way over my budget for reading material this year or I'd never have shared it.

...Hallowieners will be in budget if it exists.

I'll see what I can do in the way of selected scans as repayment. We really do need an official "TMNT Appearances in Magazines" thread.

Oops, here it is! Gotta love Roseangelo's preemptive action!

Still... it needs a lot more updates.

Yea, I used to have this..it has a "TMNT price guide" in it, which not only covers the action figures, but many tmnt items such as napkins, etc. I thought that was really awesome back in '91. If I remember correctly though, most things were worth "Current Retail Price".

You mean the great Archon Turtle, the one man who could compose a TMNT buyer's guide using pictures from his own collection didn't actually own this magazine? I'm shocked!

You'd be surprised at the amount of the more common stuff I don't have. Just for lack of intentionally searching it out.

Well, with your (loose) toy collection complete, it's time to branch out into literature! You said you were looking for more excitement, right?

I was wondering if anyone HAD ever compiled a collectors guide book (that is more in depth than all the ones out there). I was thinking of undertaking the task, but as i get more into collecting i realize there is just sooooooo much stuff!
I spent hours making my own catalog of stock numbers and variants and almost weekly i find new ones... wish there was a list already out there!

I was also wondering if there was a photo blog/scans (i noticed some in this forum) somewhere with every card (not the card the bubbles are attached to but the actual "card" that came with certain figures in the newer productions)?

Thoughts?

I had this book originally when it came out. It was the first glimpse of the toy Technodrome before it came out. I couldn't stop staring at it. I wore out my copy.
