Custom 1/12 1989 TMNT Arcade Cabinet

I've been making a lot of 1/12 scale arcade cabinets for a diorama recently and wanted to have a crack at one of Konami's 4-player cabinets, and what better than one of the most iconic games of the era, the original TMNT!

I debated whether to go for the first game or TiT (it's the same cabinet with different graphics), but whilst I never saw TiT in the wild I played a lot of the original game. The cabinet I made is actually the US version - the UK cabinet had different graphics, a different cabinet and control panel shape (as well as a different name, obviously).

Understandable and surprising at the same time. In europe I only saw tmnt in time on the snes, never on an arcade cabinet so I assumed it would not be a minority of US citizens to have ever seen a tmnt in time cabinet. Interesting... and strange/sad at the same time.
