I have this fear of heights that involve those heights that I could fall from and survive, but wind up incredibly.... broken from.

I get that. Ladders and rooftops and I don't mix. Even into my late teens and 20s, every single time I went on a ladder to get onto a rooftop I fell down when trying to go back down. So now that's kind of stuck in my head.
