Took 'em long enough. It's a great way to tell Hulk stories without getting into trouble with Universal and all that mess.

This is tight; I wonder what her origin story will be

Also, maybe we'll see the return of that big head guy from the Hulk movie

Depends who owns him. Marvel can't do movies about Hulk, because, he partially belongs to Universal or something. Maybe some other characters associated with him are also not in Disney's hands.

I'm pretty sure the only thing Universal has are the distribution rights to Hulk films, so they should be good to use those characters in other mediums if they choose

I'm sure the Hulk will factor into this series. It was the Hulk who transferred his blood to Jennifer Walters to save her life. But the result of the blood transfusion resulted in her becoming She-Hulk.

It will probably be like one of those court procedural shows. Jennifer Walters as a human while being a Lawyer on a case. Then becoming She-Hulk during the superhero moments. Sort of like Daredevil.

We'll probably see her as She-Hulk while in Court defending a client or something.

This. I'm shocked that it took this long to get her into the MCU, it seemed like a natural workaround for the Universal deal.

I wonder if the show will tap into her fourth-wall-breaking tendencies from the comics, trying to catch some of that Deadpool hype.

Huh. So much for all the fan casting of Allison Brie. Didn't have a dog in this fight, so I don't really care one way or another.

I don't know who that is, but if it has "Brie" in the name and is associated with Marvel it can't be good, sooooo.....

Yeah, they just can't do solo Hulk movies without Universal involved since apparently they own the distribution rights to solo movies forever. TV, no problem. Incredible Hulk was fine because Marvel Studios was willing to work out a deal with Universal to share... since being bought by Disney, Disney is not OK with them doing that.

I'm not too optimistic about this. The showrunner, Dana Schwartz, is famously angry at men (among other things, that we all "need to take a deep breath"). Also, claims that "It seems impossible to overstate the cultural damage done by South Park." I'm sure she would be delightful company.

A little surprised this didn't happen way earlier over at Netflix. Would have seemed a good fit.

"Damage by South Park"? Satirical series doing damage? Hm, it is almost someone is fragile and can't accept being laughed upon...

Guess, we have another Batwoman on our hands. A pity really, She-Hulk was an amazing character and I really was looking towards her appearance in a Marvel movieverse.

Sadly, yes... and they're not really making any bones about it.

And the opportunity. Like, I've got nothing against She-Hulk and I think such a show would have been awesome a few years ago when it would have been agenda free by better minds... but particularly since they've decided they can't play ball with Universal and all... why not just make a kick-ass Hulk TV show with Ruffalo? You know, redeem him from the Endgame stuff.

I have no words for this. Except I really, REALLY hope this person doesn't breed.

Ruffalo on set as Hulk, with pics. What is kind of neat is the news that they're bringing back Tim Roth as Abomination (or was this known?).

Sound expensive.... that's a lot of large CGI characters for a regular show. That's almost like giving the Bay Turtles their own weekly show.
