Unless it's Soo Yung as a cop getting into Rush Hour-esque adventures and keeping it canon, I don't think it'd interest me a whole lot, at least not until fet get a trailer.

She's been in wuxia tv series, so I assume she have some MA experience.

But, since it's a gender swapped movie, why not swap more. Have the black character be the martial artist and the asian character be the snarky one.

Danai Gurira got some kickboxing experience and apparently learned how to handle a katana for The Walking Dead. I think she could pull it off.

How about making some original movie with leading female characters, instead of making -sex-swapped versions of famous movies?

Because, I feel like it is sexist to remake male-lead movies with females and pretend it is a progress.

Rush Hour 1 is the only great one, 2 still has some humor but is a huge disappointment, 3 I remember being better than 2 but it had less humor. I've still wanted to see a fourth movie being made but it seems like we have to see this bomb before they reconsider.. They already failed at rebooting the show as a TV series so I guess when this bombs maybe we'll finally get a real sequel.

If Chris Tucker has another movie left in him, I'd way rather take "Last Friday" over Rush Hour 4.

I think I remember digging 1 and 2 but not being impressed with 3.

I have a tendency of writing female characters, because of anime I just tend to make any interesting character female.

Animal girls
Girls in battle royals
Dead girls
Magical girls
Robot girls
Demon girls
Kaiju girls
Alien girls
Girls in despair
Girls caught in a time

You name it, I got like over sixty book ideas ranging from sclice of life to horror to fantasy.

I liked Li in The Forbidden Kingdom. With a good cast and script I feel like this could work.

One series has zombies, some have ghosts, even got one with a mummy, even a Frankenstein type (more bride in concept). Even have a battle royal story set in purgatory.
