Definitely hoping these show up in my store. Really hoping for the varsity variants.

The varsity variants are out now. It looks like they may be 1 in 4 to a case. Detrimental_Fig on The Fwoosh forums found two of the varsity figures at his Target: http://thefwoosh.com/forum/viewtopic...3889&start=225 (scroll down to the last post)

I do like the idea of a bigger figure sub-line but why start it off with this exclusive "arcade damage" variant instead of regular-ass Krang's Android? I would be down for in-game palettes like NES game 1 Rocksteady or Tournament Fighters R/B but the "brief second you see them flash from damage" palette is not something I really care about.

I ran into all four of the street-Turtles at Target. Left them there. They look great, but I'm not entirely clear on where this line is going.....

I hope they open them up for ordering on their website. My local Targets are barren. I'm likely going to replace my lime colored TMNT with the Street-Style ones. I also have the IDW variants. They all look better than the lime ones but I didn't know at the time about Loyal Subjects plan. I just hope they release Karai, Rat King, Baxter and so forth. They're going variant crazy at the moment.

They're releasing them first to ensure stronger sales. No one will buy arcade Rocksteady or Krang if the default colors are already available.

Found a 3D glasses letter jacket Donnie in the wild so that became my first and hopefully last purchase from this line. If I had never come upon him I'd have easily passed but fate had other plans, lol. The collars on the jackets help cover up those awful necks!

Distribution of these is pretty silly. Out of five stores in the area, one received four of them two weeks ago, from which I was able to get a regular Mikey and signature color Leo.

Yesterday I stopped by a couple of Targets and found a set of four in one store. That included the regular versions of Leo and Don, signature color Raphael and letterman Jacket Michelangelo. The clerk was also able to check and found another store in the area had also gotten a case. So a quick drive across town netted me the exact same four figures. Which leads me to think these aren't really randomly packed.

If anyone is interested and searching for them, the listings for them online are not the same as their sku in stores. So sites like Brick Seek are no use. Even the in store inventory check kiosks seem to search based on the online system. Because I scanned one while I was in the store and the kiosk showed that it was out of stock. If you do want to find them locally, here is the sku that they are sold under 323-01-1210 (all versions seem to use the same sku.)

Oh, and I was wondering if anyone has actually seen what the Prototype versions are suppose to look like?

I think the 3D models look pretty good! But I'm a skeptic when it comes to the transition to actual plastic figs.

Cool they did an Image Volume 3 Casey nod, as well as Toon Slash, and action-figure/Toon mashup April O'Neil.

Yeah this line is shaping up to be something like "TMNT Multiverse" where they are sort of cherry-picking art directions here and there.

BST AXN April already looks better than the NECA and Super7 versions.
