Dave Mallow has passed away at 76. He had voiced Baboo and a lot of monsters in the Power Rangers series, as well as in VR Troopers and BeetleBorgs. He had also voiced characters in Digimon.

He was a very talented man. Sad to hear this. He also did the "Today on Power Rangers" voiceovers. R.I.P.

I know. He also did a promo for the Power Rangers DVDs when they were being sold on Time Life. I can't seem to find a video of it anywhere though.

I posted this in another thread, but a documentary series on MAX titled 'Hollywood Demons' will discuss Jason David Frank's suicide, the man who attempted to kill him years ago, and the dark side of the 'Power Rangers' will be streaming next month.

I think I'm starting to see how the rights are handled here.

So what made them want to turn to Disney? Is this like a Goosebumps situation where they don't own the IP but allow the new series to air on their service?

Even if a new TV series happens, it still won't get me to return to Rangerboard.com to discuss it. As I've said earlier, the moderators showed their true colors to me last year and showed how politically biased they are. What they did to me last year was like NPR does to people who don't agree with them.

Maybe Disney also lend them a budget? They're already using showrunners from a current Disney+ show.

I saw someone elsewhere suggest that they could be dumping Doctor Who to make room for this.

It'd kinda confusing because I read that Disney lost the rights to the seasons produced by them when Saban Brands bought the rights back, which would explain why none of them are on Disney Plus. Would they own this upcoming series or it's still technically Hasbro's?
