Climate activists attack Stonhenge

The prehistoric structure of Stonhenge in England, United Kingdom was sprayed with powder by climate activists today, Wednesday. British police arrested at least two of the activists for damaging the Stone Age monument.

Stonehenge was built in phases between 3100 BC and 1600 BC, and is supposed to have been used as a temple, a burial site or an astronomical calendar. It was classified a United Nations World Heritage Site in 1986.

Now how is doing that going to get their message out about climate change? All they did was made total assholes of themselves! So as usual the liberal left has no respect for anything good; they have to ruin something just to make a point. These are also the same morons that deface old famous paintings at the Louvre museum!

We know their message. We don't care. This changes nothing.

Here was Jerry Seinfeld responding to a pro-Hamas heckler during an Australian comedy show:

Can we stop with the knee-jerk "liberal left" nonsense. The vast majority of us who lean that way no doubt agee that these people need to burn. People who destroy very old historic things like this, not to mention entirely unrelated to their "cause," need to gtfo this planet. Harming something like this, throwing paint at priceless art, and other antics that accomplishes nothing is never justified. Anyone who cares so little about the importance of it and are unbothered by doing that are deeply, disgustingly selfish. F*** them in the ass with a barbed cactus for every year Stonehenge has existed.

As a far-right winger, I agree. Well written.

As for the issue at hand, I believe in climate change and I think its serious. I also think protests are effective and can make real change.

But the way this specific protest was conducted plays right into the hand of people who don't believe in climate change.

Stonehenge picks itself up, cleans itself (those rocks are pretty hardy having been there long ago enough where you were still occasionally allowed to touch them) and carries on. Like us really. Good solid Welsh stone heh...

Let's hope they at least used Crayola washable paint. At least have that small speck of respect if they're trying to trigger outrage.

I know nature would eventually wear it away, but people may be more inclined to use harsh chemicals needed to remove it, depending on the paint.

I've visited it twice, once with a guide who called it "the worst maintained monument in Great Britain". He told us that until the early 1900s people were allowed to take parts of it home, as a souvenir.

And it still looks damn impressive. Some misguided fools won't change that.

I consider it hilarious that a group of tards can go out and destroy property, hold up traffic by sitting in roads, and defacing things just because they have qualms about stuff. Protesters make me laugh because the majority of the time they just want to be seen. They really don't care about the subject at hand.

The weak-minded will always need some kind of cause to rally behind. Instant buy-in for like-minded idiots.

Someone like you writing this is real-life satire.

I think that says more about the current state of the crazies than anything about me. Or maybe what they're being indoctrinated with.

Sounds like a decent book plot. Lol

A person who has zero causes of any sort they'd support -- be it "save the whales" or "save the kids from wokeness" -- must spend life staring at a wall, only thinking of themselves.

I think nearly anyone would rally behind something they think is important enough, even if it's just yelling at clouds or the internet about it. The idiots are the ones throwing paint and causing issues in ways unrelated to it. Those people gotta be unstable lunatics.

Well said, I highly agree with this.

Don't flatter yourself. You're every bit as much of a sheep as the people you're raging on about. Getting angry about people with an actual cause is your cause.
