It's kinda weird how quickly the world moved on from this, this was only like a little over a week ago and now feels like it never happened. Trump was quite literally an inch away from being killed. Everything would be different if things just played out slightly differently.

For sure, without Trump there would have been zero calls from the left to remove Biden because they wouldn't need to. And Biden could have remained president for another 4 years in the basement.

Last post 2021. He signed up to the Republican party later than this. So I'm not reading anything into any assertions that he was pro Biden, angry at Trump, or anything like that.

Well, Trump fans wouldn’t care about the shooter’s background. If he had succeeded, all they’d care about it is, “Our leader has just been killed, there’s no democracy in this country, and we’re not gonna sit back and take it anymore,” thus a civil war would happen between deep red and deep blue areas (I don’t use the word “state” because even the reddest of them have very blue cities, and the same applies to blue states with red cities).

Considering all the TDS people who cried and complained on social media about the shooter missing, including Jack Black’s band, you can just imagine how euphoric they would’ve been if the assassination was successful and how they’d rub it in the Trump fans’ faces, which would’ve only fanned the fires. And since a former firefighter was killed in the rally shooting, those same TDS people would’ve also been celebrating his death as well, and the Right is all about first responders so again, they wouldn’t find any reason to coexist with the other side.

The Right likes to joke about how weak the Left is when it comes to combat and they don’t believe there will be another civil war since a good portion of the Left is openly against the 2nd Amendment and therefore they couldn’t possibly own guns. Oh, but they do. Antifa is not against shooting someone whom they deem to be “fascists”; they’ve done it before. It would be a total bloodbath if there was another civil war.

Joke all you want, but it’s no laughing matter.

And you’re not “hearing about it anymore” because the media is sweeping it under the rug, and it’s election year.
