Random thought: "wtf?"

Look, TMNT (via Rise) gets to be on their own Pluto channel for 15 minutes.

Jujutsu Kaisen is nothing but a blend of Naruto and Shaman King.

Rise of the Ronin is nothing but a ripoff of Ghost of Tsushima with PS2 graphics.

Game item Stone Pillar

Nah.

[Resize Tool]

That's a mutagen canister. Or close enough.

Really want to try to build an approximation of a TMNT lair in game. Until I can get the space I want for it, trying to figure out various items that either work close enough or would otherwise be suitable.

Last month my time at Rangerboard.com came to end. My family is going through challenging times right now and posting there just wasn’t worth my time. I don’t know what the future holds for me here.

That was a great episode of Rugrats. I still watch the first 3 seasons from time to time.

I am SO confused and amused how Jester, Goldmutant, and I got mentioned in a Prinston University blog from 2021.

Banned Books: Dav Pilkey’s Adventures of Ook and Gluk, a Post-Mortem

Is the writer a forum member? Otherwise, it seems so random to quote from here. lol

All I wanted to see is if I could search up an old post topic via Google, which wasn't this at all.

Cape Cod girls don't have no combs. Heave away. Heave away. They have to use dried up fish bones and make a run for Australia.

It's funny how there have never been any "internet trendy" whole kernel corn diet fads.

You know, just make half the food consumed corn to help fill up and sate hunger. Chew it minimally so that all that gets through whole doesn't even get digested.

And hear me out... If someone ate it raw, they could just replant the following season what survived their system, making it a cost-free cycle, save for the initial store-bought whole corn/seed kernels and water, no? (Ew. But nature did evolve to work that way, so...)

(For the very literal and/or overly serious people, it's just a funny thought I had.)

Why do tourists like coming to visit Derry/Londonderry? When I was in a coffee shop earlier with my family I overheard a guy from Florida saying to the woman working there that he loves Derry. I remember a couple from Iowa telling a guy working in a second hand shop that Derry was better than Iowa too. This place is a boring **** hole. I'm just curious what people see in this place?

A meme that I saw recently brings up a good point: if you can afford to attend Comic Con, then you can afford deodorant.

It's Iowa, literally anywhere is probably more interesting. Lol

The guy working in the second hand store who the couple were talking to actually said that he was born in Iowa and that he moved to Ireland when he was young. He thought Iowa was still better than Derry. I guess when you live here it does get pretty boring. I used to love living here, it felt crazier years ago but it's just not the same anymore. They used to have comic book conventions here years ago but they don't even have them anymore. Comic Con is only in Belfast and Dublin. There's actually a Comic Con event in Dublin next month. Michael Ironside, George Newbern, Andrea Romano, Robert Picardo and a couple of others are going to be there.

There's one on in Northern Ireland in Lisburn in September. Mick Foley, Rikishi, Lita, Trish Stratus, David Yost, Walter Jones, Mark Sheppard, Giancarlo Esposito and a couple of other ones are going to be at that one.

Veronica Taylor was at the Dublin one last year. I feel really annoyed at myself for missing out on that. She was my favourite April, I would have loved to get to meet her. Hopefully she comes back at some point again. Would love to meet the voice actors from the 80's, 2003 and 2012 shows.

Story time...

I'm pretty much willing to believe now that spiders can experience the feeling of disappointment and/or frustration.

We've had a small spider living behind the upper left of the kitchen sink since I think sometime in June. Named her Sinky.

Recently, after the nights turned cooler, we had a bunch of huge house flies decide to come in. Those big grey/black striped ones with the orange eyes. (They have since suddenly all vanished as quickly as they showed up. *Add shrugging emoji here.* Got some of them back out myself, but the rest... just gone.)

Call me weird, but I set a bottle cap from a discarded tea bottle near Sinky with a little apple cider vinegar in it, in hopes of trying to lure those darn flies over there so that the spider might help us deal with them. Unfortunately, it didn't work. I did see one big fly land there on the sink's built-in soap pump and the spider ran out from her hiding spot and sat watching and waiting.

Then the fly left.

The spider turned around to head back to her hiding spot, but then suddenly stopped and violently shook herself around, kind of balled up, like a tiny spider tantrum.

I felt bad for her, and maybe it's anthropomorphizing a spider, but the frustration or disappointment seemed palpable after that feast got away. lol Poor Sinky. I've only ever seen her get a tiny beetle and maybe a gnat, so that had to be like a big bucket of KFC with all the sides getting away when you've lived three months on the equivalent of one pizza (since she was pretty tiny when she nabbed that beetle) and a single cookie.

If she was a jumping spider that would have been a tiny epic takedown. Almost wish some of those little guy/girls had tried to come in when those flies did.

In the maintime, Sinky still waits...

Haha I like the name you gave the spider. I was at my mother's house earlier and a big spider just randomly pops up out of nowhere running along the floor I just randomly said to the spider "Hello big spider."
