Family Matters punishment in high school

MEMPHIS: A high school principal is really punishing students who don't follow this dress code. No baggy pants allowed! Anyone caught with sagging pants will face the Family Matters treatment of wearing their pants up so hgh & sportin suspenders to look like Steven Q. Urkel. The teacher with the most reported violations wins the Urkel award.

Guess anyone who wears baggy pants are nitwits (1977 cartoon pun; Baggy Pants & The Nitwits-NBC).

Yeah, it is. I don't know why parents allow their kids to wear such things. Some kids don't even tie their shoelaces anymore.

I heard that the comic was going this way, but the reaction of it is just irrational.

Zoo on the loose in Ohio!
http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/...ls-escape.html

Well, not so much a zoo, but an "animal farm" (appropriately named) that killed the owner and went on a romp through the countryside. Lions, wolves, cheetahs, tigers, giraffes, camels, grizzly bears and black bears may all be on the prowl tonight.

Mom just told me about this, but she heard the owner killed himself after he let them out on the prowl.

That would make better sense than the Orwellian animal uprising I imagined in my head.

Apparently there are 45 dead animals (18 endangered Bengal Tigers included) while a lot are still on the loose.

I am kind of ashamed that I didnt report this considering it was so close to me

The police claimed they had to kill them bc it happened at night and was simply to dangererous and not enough time to safely secure the animals.. Its a shame

Indeed it is. I just can't believe that all those exotic creatures could be kept legally on someone's farm. The now deceased owner must have had some serious problems to bring all this down upon the animals.

They showed on the news today that 8 states have no restrictions on exotic animals.

Ohio's one of them.

I guess, but here is the thing his wife was also there and she is alive and I am wondering how the hell she didn't notice or how the animals got out in such a short period of time in her absence????? I know they did say that the farm had constant inspections and didnt have any problems from what the said on the local news.

And yes sadly Ohio is one of those states.....

At least now there is public outcry for Ohio to get their animal laws under control:
