ROFL!! I LOVE it! I'ma steal that one. So funny- and I am a sucker for anything with sailing ships since I began my pirate research a few years back.

While wandering around, a thought came up - sometimes, I feel like I was never born.
Usually, I feel like I my existence was somehow synthesized - that I was not born as an actual living being. I constantly question my identity as an individual. Am I actually alive, or is it just all in(side) my head? I feel like I'm not even here, at least not all the way. It's quite frightening. Last edited by Papenbrook; 03-25-2019 at 02:35 AM. |

And why is that?
Random thought: Buttermilk chicken tastes so awesome.

Itching my eye while driving or trying to get something out of it worries me a little... I always think, if someone hit my car right this second I might end up blinding myself.

I always hate it when my hair gets itchy after I get it cut.

Watching reruns of Xena earlier and have to wonder- how did ancient Greeks know about electric lyres or amplifiers? LOL that show got REEEAAALLY loose with history and mythology at times! Even had electric "guitar" axes. With flamethrowers on them..... weird.

It was the "battle of the bands" episode- in season 5, I think it was. After Xena becomes preggers with Eve so around there. H&I airs them every afternoon back to back with Hercules, and also two eps each of both shows on Saturdays. Those shows went back and forth between drama and camp so much that it really would be hard to pull it off again.
RIP Ares indeed. So tragic.

It took me like 4 years but I watched all of Xena and Hercules, while I loved the format after watching so many episodes of both shows I had to take monthly breaks before being able to come back. I bought all seasons of both shows and man remember when DVDs came in those huge season box sets? they take so much space
I only missed watching Young Hercules since it wasn't available on DVD, I guess I should get to it, I'm sure it's not as fun but hey it's part of the continuity. There were so many copy-cat shows in that era, anyone got any to recommend? I didn't watch many but of the few I watched I personally loved Mortal Kombat Conquest. I've been wanting to see the Conan and The Lost World ones. |

I'm currently on about the second complete run through of both series on the station. We watch them both along with H&I's "All Star Trek" marathon each evening- all five series in order of introduction on Sunday through Friday (and adds the animated Trek series as well on Sundays) so we get to watch a bunch of shows from start to finish in order. Love it!
There was Cleopatra 2525 which had the actress who played Amarice. It was short lived but fun. Seaquest was another neat one, though more like Stargate. One of my faves with a female lead from the time was Sheena. Based on the comic book. Another cool show from a bit later was I-Man: The Invisible Man. Kind of a rogue-turned-government agent in secret project type show with a neat premise. I used to love a lot of those off-beat shows. Roar is a really good one based on Celtic history and mythology.

Was contemplating at work if we should let Staples across the parking lot know that one from their herd got away.
AKA a large red, metal shopping cart showed up on the second floor of my store, and sticks out like a sore thumb given that ours are blue and gray, and a good part plastic. Laughed when I checked and saw Staples' name on the front. Figured it might have been Penneys' next door... That I could see happening. Staples is a little bit of a journey, in parking lot terms. |

A thought: Cold gel sleeves for sunburn, to keep your skin from rubbing on sheets when you're trying to sleep.
I know I'd like that...

If a Giant Squid had only one eye, would it still be able to defend itself well against whales?

LOL, That's because cats are made of Jello! They spread out to fill whatever space they are in. With FOUR..... You've got no hope at all.

They actually clustered close together at the end of the bed. But twin beds are already uncomfortable enough for me (not enough leg room, so I get leg cramps). It was better when I had one of the tiny ones and I could move her to the top of the bed.
