RIP Peter Marshall

The original host of The Hollywood Squares game show, Peter Marshall, has passed to heaven after 98+ long years. He hosted the show's initial run from 1966 to 1981, and returned as a panelist in 2002 with host Tom Bergeron, switching places with him one day that week. He won 4 Daytime Emmys for Outstanding Game Show Host, the Bill Cullen award for Lifetime Achievement, and was inducted into the American TV Game Show Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. He also had a long career in radio, had some theater and TV credits, and was an accomplished singer, being inducted into the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame. Rest well, Peter Marshall.
