Well it was funny, but it was Crash TV bad.

But I think most of us prepared for this and expected such.

I didn't see the episode but I heard mixed reviews on it

I heard Mikey ate the antagonist and Irma had another appearance? And Leo got a new voice? Wtf is happening?

Worst episode of Season 2 so far, ok it was funny and had some good moments, but it was silly and a wierd episode. loved the movie references in it though. Splinter (didn't speak and hardly did anything) and April shouldn't been in this episode.

WTF/Stupid Moments
Mikey's homemade pizza - it had a finger, an eye, a rat, a tin can, worms on it - yuck and Mikey ate it.
If Donnie was worried about April, why didn't he leave to check on her
Mikey didn't no how to take photo's on his phone
Mikey wanted to get his money back for the pizza but he forgot he got it for free
A zombie throwing a little girl zombie at Mikey.
Pizza ingrediants being thrown at April and then wrap her up as a calzone ready to be eaten.
Mikey eating his way out of pizza face and he used to be human,
Mikey burping,
That they all think it was a dream.

Movie refrences
Movie poster, Dusk of the Zombi 4 - think is a reference to Romero Night of the living dead and it's sequels
Pizza delivery boy giving the pizza to Mikey - reference to the first TMNT movie.
Mikey acting like a gangster torturing a pizza - A reference to a gangster movie, I think Resorvor Dogs/Pulp Fiction.
The pizza put in the freezer with ICK then ICK wakes up and spins her head round - reference to The Exorcist.
Mikey pretending to be a zombie to get in the building - reference to Shaun of the Dead.
Mikey singing Go Ninja Go Ninja Go - reference to the 2nd TMNT movie.
Mikey coming out of Pizza Face - reference to Alien.

Thought this was one of the funniest episodes of the series actually. A concept so stupid it actually worked. Liked Pizzaface too.

One question though is why is it when Mikey ate pizzaface he didn't turn into a zombie?

It was alright. I didn't like the mini pizza's while I did like Pizzaface. I really wish this show would stop with the fillers and have a tiny bit of continuity. Just stop with the fillers that introduce new characters and actually use all those mutants that debuted previously. Add some character development! Maybe instead of using a new character, this episode could've been an episode for Snakeweed, or Spider-Bytez, or better yet, Mutagen Man! They have tons of unused characters that could be used! Spider-Bytez debuted in the SECOND EPISODE! He then showed up nearly 30 episodes later! All those pointless Kraang fillers could've been used to develope those characters that only show up for little to no purpose.

Another thing I might touch upon; the Kraang.

The Kraang are supposed to be defeated, right? They wanted to capture April and the turtles defeated them in showdown, correct? What goal or purpose do they serve now? Honestly! What is their goal anymore?!?!?!

This show has 26 episode seasons, that's why it has time for lots of fillers. Shows that only have 13 episode seasons tend to have less fillers because they need to focus on the plot for the season.

I don't see the problem. TMNT cartoons go on for over 150 episodes, there are tons of fillers in the past cartoons as well.

I enjoyed the episode but there were a few issues.

It was wasted on Irma and April, they might as well not been in it. They really didn't need to reiterate April abandoning Irma for the hundredth time in favour of turtle power.

Splinter could've been so much more deadlier and yet the pizza spawns put up a bigger fight than a ninja master. I didn't feel the turtles to be as dangerous as they were in Parasitica.

I also spy the potential for later episodes to not follow through correctly continuity wise, as to what happened here. The ending was a bit ambiguous.

But the ICK/Pizza Spawn/Freezer moment had me in fits. The movie references were classic this episode.

They're playing up Irma being suspicious about April and the Turtles, this is the same thing the OT did in Season 2 before Irma discovered them.

Its obvious the pizza's were in control of the bodies, it doesn't really matter how much skill Splinter has.

The episode really happened, it was obvious Mikey blacked out and returned home like the others.

Don't get me wrong, I love fun fillers! But I wish they could be used to develop all those filler mutants or at least use them in some small part.

The story of how Pizza Face came to be....wow. So he just decided to taste something that was glowing on the ground just like that? And Pizza Face was actually going to eat everyone there? Plus, Mikey literally ate a man that used to be human. What was going on in this episode was more disturbing than it seemed.

I think if you got the movie references to stuff like Aliens, gangster movies, various zombie films, etc....this episode is a lot funnier than to people who didn't notice it.

Also I thought all of Pizzaface's dialogue was hilarious. Guy sounded like a cross between Mario and the italian chef from Simpsons, "Luigi."

I loved his voice. Really great choice of casting.

I don't get the hate. It reminded me of the episode of justice league unlimited where Booster Saved the day and no one knew. That and Parasitica.

This episode was okay. It just a filler episode. The only thing that bother me was the inconsistency. It didn't make sense that Mikey wasn't pizzified from consumption when the others did. It felt a little lazy and the writing itself felt rush like all of the writing was done in an afternoon but again when no longer taking this show seriously and it was a fun wacky episode.

Wow. Just found this out. Anyone else used to watch Teen Titans? It was my favorite show when I was in Kindergarten and first grade


Anyway, great episode, full of hilarious Michelangelo moments. The stuff that he did is this episode is pretty much what makes him my favorite turtle And seeing Irma getting suspicious was cool, it'd be interesting to see if she finds out about the turtles. Overall, great episode. A vast improvement over the last Mikey focused episode, Mikey's Got Shellacne. But I wasn't a fan of the fact that

The whole thing turned out to be a dream, seemed like a bit of a copout, and it made me happy to see Mikey finally be the hero for once, only to turn out it was all a dream. Oh well.

Despite that, loved this episode. 9/10

Maybe only the little pizza's could only control people. That's probably why Pizzaface created them, because he couldn't do the job himself.
