Swedish climate activist Greta Thunberg has been detained by German police during protests by the climate movement in Lützerath, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. She will be released after her identity document has been checked.

Identity documents? She's literally "that girl," I don't think there is much questioning of her identity to be done. lol Did the police really just stand there and wait for the press to get their photos..?

Generally I've never given a damn and at most I've at least given the girl credit for being outspoken in the things she cares about when most people in the world would barely attempt to get up off their ass for the things they care for, but that video bugs me. There is almost a smug vibe to it, a pride in getting the attention, even negative, too common to her age group...

I give her absolutely zero credit because she has quite clearly been groomed by her disgusting parents to be a spokesmodel for climate change which apparently has “raped” her of her childhood. So now she will do what most talentless hacks do when their 15 minutes is long up and that is to do anything to remain desperately relevant! She’s a joke

Too easy to assume just to hate on the girl, though also always possible. Considering the big trend of faking disorders and whatever for attention among people her age, I wouldn't put it past them.

She's been at it long enough... time to either tally up the good that its done, or become yet another jaded adult who realizes the youthful belief that your generation is going to change the world for the better will once again not be coming true. I tried to look away rather than address it and encourage that topic to continue, but yeah, I'm not sure why in this day and age anyone still thinks rape comments are like that are okay, no matter who they are about. Pretty messed up to use that as a disparaging remark. I'm not crazy about the obnoxious girl either, but wtf.
