The suspense is killing me. What are the two other figures in wave 5?

agreed. it's a little uncanny.

Definitely in for Krang & Leatherhead. Maybe Samurai Leo.

Given how much they showed of Krang compared with the others I'm hoping for an Android body sized surprise when they do the full reveals.

and once again, super 7 always amazes me, I can't wait to get this Leatherhead....I understand that NECA is a different style, but man oh man, I can't get enough of these ultimates line...and I don't have to buy a 2 pack

Maybe, maybe not. But, why not? These are Ultimates, give us everything we need for the Ultimate Krang in one figure. I know they were separate releases in the vintage line but so were Baxter and the Mouser.

Do you guys think that Leatherhead will scale well with the turtles? That was the one thing that bugged me about the Playmates figure...

Given how well they’ve handled scale so far I’m pretty confident he will.

That is likely because by the time they were shown in the cartoon they were already planned/designed from the model sheets for the toys.

A NECA deluxe Mirage Leatherhead is what I would get excited about!

If Krang only comes in his bubble walker then he's probably a pass for me. I wouldn't have thought I'd be passing on figures as early as wave 5, but at $55 apiece it's going to start happening more often.

Can't wait to see how they handled Leatherhead. I really hope they don't have him all hunched over like the vintage figure. They've stuck pretty close to vintage so far but this is a case of something needing to be fixed, not kept.

Ray Fillet would be a great fourth reveal. Slash or Wingnut would also be amazing.

I can see this being something they change. They did fix Shredder to not hunch over as well, so I'm optimistic.

Yeah, I had that thought as well but that was just a matter of adding articulation. Leatherhead would need a redesign, giving him much longer legs. I hope they'd do that but I'm guessing it's going to be a no-win situation either way. If they change it people will cry foul because it's not true to the vintage toy. If they keep it people (like myself) will be disappointed that the figure still can't stand up.

So far it looks like I might only be in for Krang... Pending a full reveal of Leatherhead and whoever else is in this wave. I never was a huge fan of the original Leatherhead toy, and I don't think I'm gonna get any of the turtle variants, as cool as they are. Which is good — I can put that money back for any eventual vehicle or playset release.

I could see him still leaning over. So long as he doesn't fall over, lol.

And like Shredder, I think it can be fixed with some articulation. Let his back half / tail articulate up, just a big hinge, and you could have him standing up and leaning over.

Personally, this is a toy based line, and that's a "classic" pose for that toy (since it was gator, after all). I'd be disappointed if it *couldn't* do the original look. I suspect they'll have both though. It's not rocket surgery.

I wonder if that's three heads total for April, and if so, what's the difference between the two heads without the headset.

One head is modeled after the 1988 April head and the other one is similar to the 1991 April head sculpt (more cartoon accurate).
