Today we have a semi-unique question about...how do the TMNT hear.

I'm disappointed in the amount of responses not telling OP that turtles have ears. The number that brush it off as part of mutation is wild.

I believe that person got their account banned. Maybe they deleted it themselves, but I have a hard time believing such a big spammer of nonsense would do that. But all the questions on the most recent pages on multiple TMNT subs that were made by that person all have the username as [deleted].

I'm not sad about that. No more hallow, redundant questions from that one.

On reddit you can close your own account, so your username show up as "deleted" if you delete your account yourself since your threads/posts still remain.

Yeah, no doubt. But unless that person decided to make a new one to annoy everyone with, I doubt that's the case. That one posted to reddit like it was their whole life.

I am a little late to the party so I am just now getting used to reddit. I guess I lurk there, but don't post. If this website ever gets shut down I think we should all regroup and find each other on reddit.

To add: Reddit prob did ax it, as they appear to be back on a new account. Same kinds of posts, tons of them made already on an 8-day-old account. Knew the peace from that person was likely temporary...

For all the negative connotations that come with Reddit as a whole, I must say I’ve been hanging out in the Batman and Ghostbusters subs lately and they’ve both been enjoyable. Good posts with thoughtful replies.

I’m guessing the average user there skews older. Maybe it is all the whippersnappers in r/TMNT that make it insufferable.

I used to sometimes enjoy interacting online with younger fans of stuff I was/am into, it's nice to see younger newbies getting into something too and have that one thing in common while age and everything else generally makes us quite different otherwise. Not so true now, sad to say. Most kids aren't even cool anymore -- yeah, I said it.

Shames me that they're raised by people of our age group... how did younger Xers and Millennials create whatever that all is.
