Now this raises conflict. On one side, I want the physical copy in case it ever gets pulled off the store or something, but on the other side... 25% off......

I think…
Steam version Still 20% off on HumbleBundle IF you are a monthly subscriber. Plus, you get access to fan mods with that route.

My old laptop would explode if I download a steam game on it nowadays. I never cared much for mods. Like I don't mind seeing pics of videos of them but keep them out of my games, lol.

Thanks for the tip though.

But better to have this sort of licensing unicorn in your library for your next PC, to your original point of delist prep.

In addition to other extras and tweaks, the first patch has also added online play to TMNT IV! (Manhattan Project will also receive it in a future update.)

The 3 Gameboy games also got Game Boy Color tints!

I just replayed the first game in color (the characters are red and background blue/green like they were on Gameboy Color), man this brings back memories. The 3 Gameboy games getting Game Boy Color pallettes is huge.

And it may be a small thing, but they also updated the Switch icon to be the game's logo instead of that art from the opening animation. Looks much better, and fits the vibe of the game.

Played a few levels of Turtles in Time SNES online with some random people last night too.

What a fun collection! I am so glad this exists and that Digital Eclipse was behind this. I had been asking for something like this for years it seemed, and I'm beyond thrilled it came into fruition.

Damn good year for TMNT games.

That has to be an April Fool's joke. Those LCD games wouldn't even be worth playing on a big screen.

The first game is available on Mame and the emulation is impressive enough!

I was very happy to see someone even uploaded some excellent quality
gameplay on YouTube:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=htzWrMw7I5g
(If you try to watch it with sound on, make sure your volume isn't up
too high or the game sounds may not be pleasant to the ears!)

An enhanced mode like what Nintendo did with their Game & Watch Gallery collections could be very cool!

REALLY been looking forward to that Manhattan Project online play.

It is my fave classic TMNT beat 'em up, even over Turtles in Time.

Curious about that bonus art too!
EDIT: This seems to be a good list of in-game change histories:

Hooray for digital preservation of the new Eastman art!

I agree. Turtles in Time is just too easy, even on hard mode. Shredder's Revenge is also fun but it's also very glitchy.

Among the art gallery additions in this new update, we got a full color uncropped/obscured scan of Michael Dooney's Manhattan Project cover! Been looking for that art for years!
Also, the same treatment for the USA Radical Rescue and Hyperstone Heist covers.

Although I had thought that previous versions of the game already included background illustration concepts for the SNES Tournament Fighters, the newest update appears to have far more, including an unused concept for an Archie TMNT Adventures inspired theatre and an unused concept for the Train-stage in which the Channel Six helicopter would crash and burn (but the staff would escape via parachute)! Several of the stages would have featured extra screens to the left and right of the main stage.

According to some fans, we also have new character turnarounds for Wingnut, Aska, and Karai, each one rockin' their super-tight cheeks.

Really wish they improved the arcade games, as a kid my mom would give me quarters for the simpsons arcade machine at the movie theater and while I never made it past the third level when I died I switched between Homer and Bart. In this collection I am stuck playing the same turtle unless I want to restart the whole run or do level select. I know most people don't mind but it is the one thing I wanted more then more games to play online since the online is dead. While the collection is good for giving people easy access to all the games its defintely not the best way which really is a shame when I think the goal of these should be becoming the defacto way to play these games.
