Also this is Rise, to 10 to 1 it'll be some new character or some mystery character that turns out to be one of the Turtles or April as an adult.

In any other series (except the OT), this character from the future would obviously have been Renet.

If they did randomly decide to bring regular Casey into it, then girl Casey is probably his mom (grandmom?) he's named after... But it would be an uninteresting choice and further screwing with the TMNT timeline; grandma Karai was odd enough.

I want to say that a "mysterious stranger [who] arrives from the future" could also be this show's take on Renet, but if Osment is playing said time traveler, then prob not. (Unless, knowing this show, Renet has become Reynold. lol)

My predictions.

1) The film will start in the future where the stranger hailed from. And everyone is wearing eye patches.

2) The stranger is a future version of one of the Turtles, or someone they know.

3) A heartwarming reunion between Draxum and the gargoyles.

4) A flashback revealing how April met the Turtles.

5) Nearly every character that the Turtles have met making an appearance. Probably during a climatic battle against The Krang.

Really, I assume Nick had a lot of say in that. Sure, not everything Netflix comes up with is stellar, but why go with the series that was obviously bombing so early, even if not yet decidedly being cut short yet when that deal was struck.

Are you implying they would do anything else with TMNT? This movie was also greenlit before they knew the show was going to be canceled, so it's not like they made this out of nowhere.

Even if the show was renewed for 10 more seasons, it’s a waste of the platform. They could do something else, sure. It’s not outside the realm of possibility.
