Climate activists disturb the Parliament of Sweden
On 17 April 2023, a male climate activist entered the Parliament of Sweden, shouting his demand for the Wetlands of Sweden to be restored. Guards carried him away.
The upcoming day, Swedish minister for International Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade; Johan Forrsell, talked about economic sanctions against Russia as a response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine (an extremely serious issue). Suddenly, a group of climate activis entered. Guards carried the activists away and handed them over to the Swedish Police Force. Today, when the Swedish Parliament debated climate change, a group activists disturbed the debate. Again, the speaker called for guards to remove the activists. Anyone who wants can enter the Swedish Parliament and listen to the politicians talking, as long as he or she doesn't disturb the disturb the debate. 17 april: https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/p...s-ut-av-vakter 18 April https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/n...ra-dagen-i-rad 28 April https://www.svt.se/nyheter/inrikes/f...tt-om-klimatet Last edited by Original TMNT Cartoon Fan; 04-28-2023 at 01:09 PM. |

My area did a bit of that at one time, ignoring that local marsh areas exist for a reason. Friend of my mom's decided to go and live in a development built on it. Long story short... 95% of that neighborhood no longer exists. A few homes right up front at the entrance of it survived the flood. |
