Honestly, when 3-D printing becomes a household norm, toy companies aren't even going to make toys anymore. They'll sell you a schematic online and you make it at home.
Of course, it doesn't sound like India is a practical solution. You may well be right on the latter point, though I hope you're wrong because I think if each household gets its own plastic 3D printer it'll be calamitous. So many articles about the amount of plastic we're all absorbing, eating, and drinking every day. Scary stuff, which doesn't even account for the sheer amount of waste that would result from each household basically being its own little factory.

Oh geeze can you imagine the crazy places that powdered resin would wind up if it were in every household in America?

Are any MOTU figures required for the BAF? I was planning on getting TMNT only.

I think that’s unknown right now.

Mouse-Jaw is a part of the Metalhead BAF. Dunno if you consider him a MOTU figure or not; I do. I saw a couple at Target (midwest) this weekend, while he looked cool, I held strong and threw it back.

Mattel's build quality in general is very good. I remember when I opened the DC Multiverse Dark Knight Returns wave some years back. They were the first Mattel toys I had actually opened in decades.

I was shocked at the build quality - far surpassing Hasbro at the time.

Not sure if I am going to invest in this line, but I must say the turtles came out real good (better than I expected or anticipated). Perhaps, I will pick up the turtle bros if I ever decide to get the MOTU Toon line (maybe, Krang, Shredder and Splinter too) as they would look good side by side. Metalhead looks impressive from the box art.

The more I think about this, the main thing I might actually want out of this line is the mini comic. I wonder if there's only one, or if it's a mini-series? As I've said the figures look great, I just can't get into another deep cutting line like this.

Really? I’m in Ohio and there are dozens of them at all the Wal marts in my area. I’m shocked they haven’t put them on clearance yet!
