It's not a matter of him being wishy-washy; there is a lot of legalese at play that is pretty much forcing him to buy Twitter.

This is a good thing. Twitter chose a political side and deems itself worthy of deciding what is and isn’t disinformation.

Musk is a strange fellow but at least he seems to believe in free-speech.

It's been pretty amusing watching the timeline of comments from leftists on social media about the Musk/Twitter thing. First "They better not let him buy it! They better stop him!" to "HAHAHA! They better make him buy it!!" to now "Wait, he's actually gonna buy it? NOOO!!!" and so on.
