I enjoyed the books because they put a different spin on the whole vampire thing. Steph made them a bit different than the usual stereotypical ones we've usually seen.

yeah that's kinda how i fealt. though i wasn't originally on board with Twilight at first, mainly due with the whole "sparkling" in the sun thing, once i read the books and saw the first two movies, i changed my mind, and i find the whole saga to be epic

My mom got me into the books when she said that the kids at school were reading them and loved them. So, since I'm always open to new reading material, I gave them a shot and really enjoyed them.

The one with Bree is really good, but it's pretty short. I read it in a day.

Nope, didn't catch it. I don't stay up to watch late-night TV because I'm usually too tired.

I've watched the first Twilight movie twice now and keep wondering why all Bella does is stare at Edward. Most of the time I'm thinking, "Well, that's really bizarre" "What's wrong with you now, Ed, forget to take your Prozac again?" And she never does anything but stare at him with her tongue hanging out. Weird. Maybe I'm more curious than the average 16 year old girl who is pathologically clumsy and seems to have no outstanding characteristics besides that she wants to get laid by a vampire.

I think she stares at him because she finds him attractive and is entranced by his beauty. In the books Edward has the power to dazzle people just by the sound of his voice, which he even does to Bella. I don't think it's that she wants to get laid by him, she just naturally likes him and can't take her eyes off him.
