Power rangers and next mutation tmnt

I watched this episode of the space power rangers and the tmnt today and I swear they made the turtles dumber than the old toon one.

They were running around bumping into one another doing slapstick humor. I couldn't help but say what the hell is this.

The only part they shined at was the end where they were fighting which was better than any fight scene they ever showed in tmnt next mutation

This was made in 1998 when The Next Mutation and Power Rangers in Space were both owned by Saban and it was the only time for it to have a crossover. Nowadays it won't work; I do admit I remember watching it and actually enjoyed it but then again I was 11 years old so what do you except? lol.

I wish Saban read the comics since we could have had the Fugitoid join and the Triceratons team up with the PR villains with its space theme. Who what have fought that the crossover was TMN's unofficial series finale? It came at a time after many hadn't cared for the Turtles for several years since MMPR, and while PRiS is one of the better eras of PR, the episode leaves many questions about what happened afterwards. How did the Turtles get back home when they were last seen floating in space on a surfboard?

The Megaship took them home, obviously the Rangers wouldnt let them fly around out there forever with ther Galaxy Gliders, which remained a fixture of the season throghout.

How is it TMN's unofficial series finale? Three TMN episodes aired after it.

I have seen the first two episodes of the NM show. I didn't want to watch any more... Well, I decided to catch up on some more unseen Turtles, so... I am now watching the East meets West DVD ! The first half hour seems to have been the first two episodes, totally butchered in the editing process.
I am quite sure that I will look out the full series.. Ok, I admit it, I just did.

Now, the PR crossover, Shell Shocked, I guess I'm going to have to check this out as well.

Good, bad or ugly , it's new Turtles to watch... Before tomorrow's new episode

Update. I have the episode, and the preceding one in the computer. I looked at the first couple of minutes, and.. well, it didn't look good at all. Maybe I should drink a few beers before watching.

I always found it strange Venus knew who Astronema was, and the Turtles thought the Rangers were "pretend".

You gotta luv the Internet.
Yesterday, I didn't even know there was a crossover between the two shows, and now.. I have watched it.
OK, I expected it to be terrible. It wansn't.
The first part was all over the place and making little to no sense at all, but then I did like the end where we see the Turtles.
The second part was actually a fun 20 odd minutes. I can't say I'd be in a hurry to watch it again, but thanks to the originator of this thread for bringing this to my attention.
If I ever buy the NM Turtle figures, I might buy a PR set and set up a lil display.
