The more we talk about these here the more I'd like to have them. But I remind myself that I'm in for a 2-year haul of irritation waiting for the Indiana Jones figures now and I "had" to order those.
I didn't even pre-order the new Silver Centurion Iron Man they solicited. It looks great, but I'll buy it when it actually drops. |

And it’s saying sold out again. Crazy how it randomly pops up as available.

It's occasionally popping back up at various retailers.
As I type this, you can order it at EE but who knows how long that'll last https://www.entertainmentearth.com/p...ed-set/mz75514 |

Mallfish sent out an announcement that they will be charging their pre-order customers for the turtles because Mezco just charged them for their allotment. BBTS also has this set listed as April 2024 now. So these could be shipping out a lot sooner than the projected August estimate previously given.

Are these the $400 set? Turtles with no ankle articulation aren't very fun.

They look nice but I kinda don't see the point. What niche are these filling that hasn't already been filled over these last 5 years of the TMNT tidal wave? Darker and grittier? Maybe, but NECA does dark and gritty pretty darn well and their figures have the added benefit of being tied to a specific appearance (comic, movie, etc). I'm sure these will be very nice for those that got them though and it's great that they're delivering "early". I look forward to seeing better photos and video. |

Hopefully we'll get a better look in the coming days. I checked and there's no yt videos just yet, but probably coming.

Here we go, our first decent video of the unboxing.
(yes they have ankle articulation) So there you go. They turned out about how I expected... that is to say, excellent. |

No size comparison with similar scaled figures still....
Otherwise, I love them! |

Yeah those look great. I'll be excited when the inevitable Pixel Dan video comes out so I can get a better look at them all together posed out. And then yeah, we need a comparison time.
I still don't regret passing on them but if they somehow hit a steep sale I'll be mighty tempted. |

you have to push the belts up so they are snug around the shell or they tend to sag down, as more people get them in hand we'll see how big of an issue this is, but probably no more than any other figure with a belt.

Man , those look very over-priced for what you get in that set and the turtles look pretty CHEAP.

I don't agree that they look cheap, but they do cost $400 so there is a certain expectation of quality people want. I'm just trying to help people decide rather they want to keep their pre-orders or not. a 400 pack is definitely not for most people.

more high quality pics here.
I uploaded the highest res versions below for easier viewing. Click each image if you want to see a larger version to compare the individual sculpt details. Each turtle has a lot of unique sculpting. |
