Tonight I had to go on a hunt for tmnt Valentine's. A month ago we bought a box that had 16 valentines and 16 Tmnt pencils in them for my son's kindergarten class. I always thought his class was 17 kids including him so 16 would have been enough but today I learn it is 18 total so he needs 17 valentines. So we go to Walmart and they don't have anymore so we go to our other Walmart and I grabbed the last box. I was so certain that 16 was enough though...apparently the list had two people named Sydney so I am asking my son if that was true or if it was a typo I was that sure. Pretty sad that I was hoping someone was a typing error just so I could be right. Oh well it worked out for the best.
The thing I always hated about class valentines is you have to find ones that are neutral to give to the guys. At least with tmnt ones that should be easy. |

I have been to every Dollar Tree in the area (and several out of the way) and have yet to see those key chains. I wonder if they are only being shipped out to certain areas, or if the stores here will eventually get them?

Good question. I'm located in Arizona, but I find it odd if it was only a regional thing. I did noticed they sold out quick. I can only suggest to keep checking. Amazon has them for sell, but they are charging $5-7 each...

I will definately keep checking. If I miss out, it isn't a really big deal..but at $1 each, I want them.

I stumbled upon the Swappz at my local Dollar Tree when looking around for Valentine crud and cheap movies, haha. I swear, when I found the TMNT Swappz...it was as though a light was shining on the fixture holding them. I managed to get one of each except for the Donatello with the purple cityscape background. I found him on eBay later that night for about $4. I like this set and I couldn't care less about the game. I really like the poses they're in.

I got all the Swappz turtles except the 2 Raphs and one of the Mikeys. Our dollar tree didn't have them but I will be checking another near by store soon

I went to 3 Dollar Trees and found pretty much the same swappz figures. I also found turtle washcloths, cups, valentines', travel tissues, notepads, and large size pens.

So I was at my local store that specializes in everything cool as I was buying more of their TMNT OT figures (got 5 sports tmnt variants for $48 ) and I was about to leave when I saw these:
While money wise I could afford them I knew if I spent $80 on Tmnt merch my partner would have hit me with a frying pan when I got home. Maybe if I play my cards right she will give me more spending money this weekend. Also while I was there I saw this statue too: but asking for another $20 would be too much. |

Yeah it's so weird that we're literally on the same piece of dirt but aren't allowed to have the same things due to some suits deciding what's "best for us".
