KoF XIV.

Had 2D sprite withdrawal at first, but I'm enjoying the experience thus far.

Anyone have No Man's Sky? I was always excited about this game but kind of fell out of the loop since the reveal but it got really bad reviews but upon reading them the game seems like everything I heard about the game is in it but apparently at some point people expected more from interviews of the development that they didn't deliver? Maybe the game will be fine for me since I never expected more than what I saw in the original reveal?

Recently went through both Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 to 100% completion which means getting all 121 stars with both Mario and Luigi in Super Mario Galaxy and getting all 242 stars in Super Mario Galaxy 2. I thought Super Mario Galaxy 2 was quite an improvement over the first one up until the game became a green star fetch quest which felt a lot more tedious than the first one's purple coin collecting. They're both still very phenomenal games but they both have their flaws and shine in spots where the other one might not.

I also passed both Bayonetta 1 and 2 on the Wii U. The gamepad was surprisingly comfortable for such intense button mashing games. I really enjoyed the 2nd game, though it felt a lot easier than the first one judging from each game's normal mode. I also felt like it was lacking in the boss fight department compared to the first one though it was still a very amazing game.

And in anticipation for Gears of War 4, I went back into Gears of War: Ultimate on Insane and just learned that you can decimate RAAM while the Kryll is on him... Would have definitely save me an hour of frustration had I known that earlier. I'm still very disappointed that they didn't improve the gameplay to the standard Gears of War 3 set. Would have been nice to experience the first game with that same smooth and fluid gameplay. Anyway, I'm currently play TMNT: Mutants in Manhattan. It's been pretty fun thus far. Probably the most fun I've had with a TMNT game though the game itself isn't anything special.

Pick-ups from a used game/media store my parents just happened to stop at a couple days back:

Ratchet & Clank Future: Tools of Destruction (Actually had this one previously, but the game got lost somehow and I only had the case until now.)

Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles (Actually the very first Castlevania game I've ever bought! Never played a game in the series before for over a minute, so this should be a fun little adventure for the spooky season!)

Good choice. It's got arguably the best of two different Castlevania type games.

I'm playing Uncharted 4 at the moment. I really like it, but the enemies are total bullet sponges. I'm shooting guys in the throat with an AK-47 and they just stagger a bit and keep attacking.

Got Apollo Justice off of Amazon since I'm just about done with the AA trilogy. Need to pick up AAI and then I'll have all of the games. (Released in the US at least...)

Is Mafia III any good? Its a game I'm on the fence on. But I don't want another generic GTA-style game if its nothing special.

Been playing Yugioh WCT 2005 for the gba recently for the first time in ages and it's fun. It's actually more challenging than I remembered. I didn't know much about the TCG/OCG when I was younger, so I just used a simple beat down deck back then. I found out that the video game doesn't have a varied card pool, unfortunately, so a lot of deck themes such as zombies, gravekeepers and toons are awful, but I'm still able to put together a few good themes such as Burn, Exodia, Discard and A Legendary Ocean.

I most recently played the demo version of Niche: A Genetic Survival Game.

Many, MANY restarts...and an ugly menu screen since it was a very early version of the game. I either ran out of males or females, or genetic variation. It was also hard to figure see my genotypes and phenotypes.

I'd like to get the early access version that's available now...for all the trouble, I still had fun.
