Tales of the TMNT S1 Blu-ray coming 11/12

Tales of the TMNT Season 1 is coming to Blu-ray on November 12th! This'll be our first TMNT show on the format! God bless Paramount for their dedication to putting out their streaming shows on physical media.

not the 87 show not 2003 show not the 2012 show not Rise but Tales?

Which is funny, considering the show was created for a streaming service. You know, those things we are constantly told have rendered Blu-Rays obsolete?

Anyway, so are those 12 episodes really one season? It felt to me like they had at least twice as many episodes left before the first season concluded and that another 20 or so episodes were coming after that. Feels kinda weird to think this might have been it.

I like the cover art. I don't usually buy discs for my animated shows though. I will wait and hope for a complete season 1 sale on itunes to go with my other turtles collections on there

TBF, The show is in HD, Unlike the other shows that were in SD.

Though the 2012 series was in HD, yet they only released it on DVD which doesn't make sense, I guess they did it for cost cutting reasons.

I mean... it's the most recent show. If they made some sort of 80's continuation series in 2023/24 that would get a BluRay release too.

The 2012 cartoon desperately needs a blu-ray release because the show was made for it.

This show gets a physical release, a blu ray no less. THIS show. Even Rise doesn't have a physical release, and ultimately I liked that one better than this version, and I'm not too fond of either.

I sort of feel the same way, Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is my least favourite out of the animated series. While I'm not as crazy about Rise as much as the 2003 and 2012 shows it still has it's moments. I still have a fondness for the 80's series because of nostalgia. I wonder if they'll ever do a complete series box set of Rise on DVD since they released the 1987, 2003 and 2012 shows in complete series DVD box sets?

I think there were two of those 4-5 episode compilation discs, but that's it. Nothing approaching a complete season release.

Eh That's not really fair to judge, it's only had 12 episodes released so far. Rise has at least two seasons and a movie. Let's see how they tackle Shredder first.

I read that the show is now on Netflix which makes me wonder if it's worth buying. Odd for me to say since I prefer physical, any day. Why 11/12, though? I don't know if the show is desirable to have but that's a pretty long wait, especially for collectors.

That'll depend if it gets a second season and if it does, will it take place before or after the sequel.

I think 11/12 was this past November though? Did it come out? I've heard and seen nothing about it doing so. You'd think with a second season intended before the next movie they'd have waited anyhow and just did a set with both.

Saw complaints that once again on Netflix the order is supposedly mixed up. Like that's just so impossible to get right.
