I am interested in getting a Shredder/Green Ranger. Can I order one through my local Gamestop or how does it work? I don't really venture into Gamestop much.

Yeah they are dif companies.... that's... that's the point.. they are two dif companies that aren't playmates doing TMNT figures.

We are talking why companies, that aren't playmates, are doing 2 packs and why the 2 packs won't be released in single packs.

but things changed now.

And playmates are SPECIFICALLY releasing those 2 packs in order to keep Hasbro and other companies from putting out product like MMPR/TMNT onto the toy isle retail shelves. The entire strategy of those two pack retreads playmates is putting out is to block competition.

I think the simplest answer is just to sell more figures.
Selling 2 is more than selling 1. That's the current META (Most Effective Tactic Available) proven by Neca.

It was exactly done to circumvent it and as others stated also specific price points. No, they can't just renegotiate every year, unless they want to potentially screw up the deal they have. That is why deals are for multiple years.

Nickelodeon is the sole reason we are getting as much product as we are right now and no coincidence we have seen more product hit from multiple companies since they bought TMNT. Nickelodeon is hungry for more money and therefor pushing Playmates more and more to put up or shut up on certain form factors/price points etc. hence why we are starting to see them put slightly more effort into things but still not great effort.

It's definitely a 100% match with the comics. I hope NECA consults Zelu to make an Ultimate April figure.

The MMPR x TMNT figures are pretty decent for what it's worth but the art style is somewhat different than the comics, almost in a deliberate way. I wonder if the rumor is true that it is based on an animated movie (as opposed to the comics, explicitly). That may also explain the 2022 release date.

I'm super happy with how they all turned out. One concern I have is the necks and if they will look too long or weird with the green turtle heads on or not. Can't really tell because none of these shots have sufficient angles on that.

Super pumped about getting these, so glad I pre-ordered.

I like the turtles with the helmets on but the turtles heads just don't feel like they even go to the same figures/line. They seem more animated and out of place, especially when you have a figure like tommy that looks more serious/natural and not the same animated type style.
