This one was clearly magic. The airplane or falling down three waterfalls were not.

I can barely wait for the next JP sequel/requel/whatever myself.

You know its such a shame Jurassic World was so terrible. I was so oddly hyped for it because after Jurassic 3 I thought they couldn't do any worse.

Then they somehow did a million times worse. And Terminator 5 sucked too. It was so sad, so very sad.

Terminator 5 was bad, but no worse than the other sequels. Jurassic World tho - yeah - a huge bag of bungholes.

Cubed, you need to watch Daredevil. Get on it man.

But if we're in a world where magic exists, then the airplane and falling and refrigerator are all way easier to believe.

The more I watch the former, the worse it gets.

I finally watched Jurassic World like a month ago. Not terrible, but not a great deal new about it either. Weird that the director was worried that involving any of the JP1-3 cast might seem nonsensical vs. how any insurance company on Earth would insure Jurassic World after what happened to Jurassic Park.

Terminator 5 is a pretty horrid way to try and start anew. And what do they do after the ill-received PG-13 Terminator 4? Follow it up with a PG-13 Terminator 5. And you aren't really paying homage or respect to Terminator 1 and 2 by wiping them out and replacing their events with kiddy-coated rubbish and the crappiest possible recasting ever of Kyle Reese.

I enjoyed Jurassic World a lot except for the T-Rex vs Indominus superhero like ending to the movie. It didn't do a lot of new but it gave me exactly what I wanted: A movie where the park was open and a return to Jurassic Park. It's not any worse than the other sequels and its a decent entry. Now if Jurassic World 2 is about a dinosaur War, while cool isn't Jurassic Park so I hope they don't go that route for the sequel. The concept itself of Jurassic Park doesn't really lend itself to sequels which is why no JP movie will ever be able to top the original unless they remake it and make it closer to the book.

Indiana Jones is definitely a series that could work with sequels with each one just involving a new "item". Its difficult to top the previous film each time since how many items can be as sought after as the Holy Grail but if they kept it like James Bond it would work. Of course that would mean a new younger Indiana Jones.

I actually really liked Jurassic World. I liked the characters, the music, the cinematography... the only thing that irked me was how D'Onofrio's character didn't fit in to the plot organically, but it wasn't a big deal.

The main characters were the worst part of Jurrassic World. The male and female lead had no personality outside of stock characters, the kids were awful, the white texan who wanted to use the raptors as soldiers was so cliche and idiotic, and then there was the babysitter who got a cruel death for no reason?

The only guy I liked was the Indian man who was the park owner and he died in a helicopter crash.

I honestly can't remember a single character's name from Jurassic World. I only know them by their real names. "Look, there's Chris Pratt! There's Ty Simpkins! There's Bryce Dallas Howard! There's Omar Sy!"

I'm kind of surprised they let Omar live.

I can't remember their names either. I just call them by what they are:

- Stock male white hero
- Stock lead female character love interest
- Annoying kid characters
- Rich white Texan who wants to use dinosaurs as weapons and is an idiot
- Babysitter who dies for no reason
- Indian man

Works for any movie out there.

It's actually a bit of a shame that Michael Crichton's thought-provoking, well-written, genuinely interesting novel led to the polar opposite that is Jurassic World.

But I still enjoy the film.

Can't they just cast Chris Pratt for the reboot already?

There's a decent film in there somewhere. Somewhere.

All these sequels/reboots of classic movies from the 80's and 90's is a mistake. Everytime they try to bring an old franchise back they fail spectacularly.
