Wait, Stockman?

That's gonna help pinpoint whether or not we should consider this in Mirage's future or not.

If dude's not a broken heap of scrap on Don's wall, well then...

It appears to be its own thing which is for the best. It gives it freedom of continuity and ability to incorporate more than Mirage.

Mutant Town is the central plot in the ongoing as far as #110. So many other amazing plot points to touch on.

I kinda get the feeling they should make a set of specials/spinoffs for "adventures in mutant town" at some point so the main ongoing focuses more on the plots left behind prior to issue 100 (Ch'rell/Utroms and Triceratons, Null, and now Leatherhead/Krang).

Seems like we're going to spend a long time yet just in a slice of life mode.

I'd say we're about the same place as we were after #50;

51-55/ 101-105:- dealing with the aftermath of the previous arc,

56-58/ 106-108:- Leatherhead/ Eel mutant 3-parters,

59-60: Alopex+Kitsune 2-parter/ 109-110: 2x one-shot stories

61-64: Street Phantoms/ 111-115: tbc

A couple of things to note though is that #112 will likely release in December, so that may keep things from progressing to much for a little bit longer, but also we have the series 10th anniversary next year in August so there's most likely something pretty big planned for the run up to #120 or for #120 to #125.
I'm mentioning #125 as every 25th issue has been pretty big so far: #25 during City Fall, #50 Vengeance, #75 Trial of Krang and #100 City at War.

Interesting how all of these could easily come together in a single plot thread much more easily than how, say, City at War juggled various plots.

I can't be the only one who read "mutant bikers' and instantly thought they would bring a gang of Biker Mice into this similar to Biker Mice from Mars? Cause that's one of my top 3 crossovera I'd love to see with the turtles. Guarantee they'll be giant pigs on motorcycles though lol.

It would be cool to have it be a continuation of some sort of the Mirage series (which it absolutely could be or at least draw stuff from it), but with them setting it 30 years from now, and with the state of things in the current series, it only makes sense to have it be in the IDW continuity. Thats just the conclusion I've came to with everything we've seen so far.

I'd honestly be ok with a limited run based on Mutant Town. Would be a cool way to introduce more characters or side plots similar to what TMNT Universe did.

I don't think the slice of life plot line will last too much longer either. They've started planting seeds showing they have a direction they are heading in, like Lita showing up grown up through the portal and April having interest/suspicion I in Stockman, and not to mention the mouser showing up. Plus, with the annual coming out next month, I wouldn't be surprised to see things start to escalate after that book comes along.

It would be cool if some of those bikers are mutant mice and looking kind of like them. It would be a nice little easter egg for sure.

Don't forget the Biker Men from Mass!
https://comicvine1.cbsistatic.com/up...cro_bnr-pr.jpg

Would love to see if they go full circle on that reference if any of them stuck around New York for the bomb

Whether or not we have any easter eggs there, I look forward to 110 on that cover alone, although to be fair, on covers? Last Ronin seems to be knocking it out of the park on that front, I know hype is big for this title already, but I think on covers alone those have to catch someone's eyes sitting on the shelf, nice to see Bates' work on turtles once more!
